Video: Broner throwing nonstop punches in training for Figueroa fight
By Jeff Aranow: Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner (33-3, 24 KOs) is working hard on trying to improve his low work rate for his April 21 fight against Omar Figueroa Jr. (27-0-1, 19 KOs) at a still to be determined venue. This a fight that Broner cannot afford to lose if he wants to remain one of the top fighters in boxing. It’s already clear that Broner is not going to be the next Floyd Mayweather Jr. as some people had thought he would be years ago. At this point, Broner is little more than a gate keeper.
Spence vs. Figueroa more exciting than Thurman and Crawford
By Jaime Ortega: While most people are stuck trying to push Keith Thurman vs Errol Spence Jr vs Terrence Crawford – I looking also forward to see all these championship fights – they’re other fights I believe would be even more epic and lesser known to the casual fan.

By Jaime Ortega: The welterweight Omar Figueroa Jr. who will be facing Adrien Broner April 21 said in an interview that he wants to fight Errol Spence Jr. on June of 2018.
Figueroa has called out Spence repetitively in the past weeks, and even said Spence needs “redemption” to avenge his loss during the 2007 golden gloves amateur competition where Figueroa stole his chance to qualify in the Olympics. Figueroa said he also “beat up Spence!” in quite a calm but arrogant manner.

By Jaime Ortega: As the Premier Boxing Champions kicked yesterday in New York to showcase the next fights available for the year, a few details sparked my attention after all the boxers rounded up in their podiums as the fights were announced. Omar Figueroa walked right next to Errol Spence and Spence looked right at him, as Figueroa waited to face-off Adrien Broner. Then after his face-off Figueroa walked right next to Spence, and stand right next to him without saying a word. That scene captured the scene of the event among other curious moments.
