By Scott Gilfoid: In separate venues tonight, four-time world title challenger Martin Murray (34-4-1, 16 KOs) faces Gennady Golovkin knockout victim Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) in Liverpool, England, and former 2-division world champion Arthur Abraham (45-5, 30 KOs) squares off against Robin Krasniqi (46-5, 17 KOs) in Germany. It’s a couple of neat fights. I wouldn’t say it’s the best going against the best, but these are good fringe level contenders fighting each other.

Rosado explains why Canelo chose Chavez Jr. instead of GGG
By Dan Ambrose: Gabriel Rosado has his own theory about why Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is fighting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. next instead of the fighter that the boxing world wants to see him face in Gennady “GGG” Golovkin. Rosado says that the sport has changed and it’s now more business oriented with the best fighters no longer facing the best. So instead of Canelo fighting the best fighter in the middleweight division, he’s facing Chavez Jr., whose career hasn’t been the same since his loss to Sergio Martinez in 2012.
Watch: Martin Murray vs. Gabriel Rosado – Official weights
By Scott Gilfoid: Martin Murray (34-4-1, 16 KOs) and Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) both weighed in successfully on Friday in each of them coming in at 159 ¼ pounds in their fight for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental middleweight title this Saturday night on April 22 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Rosado and Murray are going to be taking a trip to the last chance saloon on Saturday, as neither guy can afford to lose. Rosado lost his last fight to Willie Monroe last September in a fairly one-sided defeat.

Gabriel Rosado: I want to win big against Martin Murray
By Scott Gilfoid: The moment of truth is upon us with Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) ready to give former 4 time world title challenger Martin Murray (34-4-1, 16 KOs) a royal whipping this Saturday night in their important all or nothing clash at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Murray, 34, is trying to get yet another world title shot despite having failed miserably over and over again. Rosado’s goal for the fight is to smash Murray and snuff out his dream of winning a world title. Rosado will be the visiting fighter when he enters the lion’s den on Saturday night on April 22 at the Echo Arena.
Martin Murray wants to brawl with Gabriel Rosado
By Scott Gilfoid: 4-time world title challenger Martin Murray (34-4-1, 16 KOs) says he’s going to war in his fight against middleweight Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) in their fight on April 22 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Murray believes that he still has a chance to win a world title at 160 when current IBF/IBO/WBC/WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin moves up to super middleweight. Golovkin is expected to move up to 168 after the end of the year, according to his trainer Abel Sanchez.
Rosado: I’m going to knockout Martin Murray
By Scott Gilfoid: Two time world title challenger Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) says he’s going to turn his next fight against former four time world title Martin Murray (34-4-, 16 KOs) into a war on April 22 at the Ercho Arena in Liverpool. The 34-year-old Murray keeps world title shots over and over despite losing pretty much every time. He’s hoping to get another crack at a world title. At his age, Murray is at the last chance saloon in facing the 31-year-old Rosado. If he loses, it could be the end of Murray’s boxing career.
Jacobs gave Golovkin too much respect says Rosado
By Allan Fox: Former world title challenger Gabriel Rosado was disappointed in the performance by Daniel Jacobs in his loss to Gennady “GGG” Golovkin last weekend. Rosado says that Jacobs made the mistake of giving Golovkin far too much respect by not using his own punching power to beat him. Rosado believes that the fight was there to be won by Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) if he had fought with some intensity and used his own formidable punching power to trade with Triple G.
Exclusive Gabriel Rosado Q&A: ‘It’s a must-win situation’
By Ian Aldous: On April 22nd, two-time world title challenger Gabriel Rosado (23-10), travels to the Echo Arena in Liverpool to battle four-time world title challenger, Martin Murray (34-4-1). The two middleweights know how much is on the line and it could be the last chance for either man to get a final shot at a world championship. This week, the Philadelphian native spoke with me over the phone about the April 22nd fight and his career so far.
If Jacobs can smother Golovkin, he can beat him says Rosado
By Allan Fox: Gabriel Rosado sees this Saturday’s middleweight showdown between IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and WBA ‘regular’ champion Daniel Jacobs coming down to whether Jacobs can handle the punching power of Triple G. Rosado feels that Jacobs will win the fight if he can take the power of Golovkin, and smother his offense in some manner. Rosado doesn’t come right out and say it, but he seems to believe that Jacobs has the boxing skills to get the victory over Golovkin if he doesn’t get knocked out.
