By Scott Gilfoid: The winner of the April 20th fight between Tyson Fury (20-0, 14 KO’s) and Steve Cunningham (25-5, 12 KO’s) wants a title shot against IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko then they’re going to have to battle #1 IBF contender Kubrat Pulev (17-0, 9 KO’s) for the IBF #1 eliminator spot next instead of being able to go straightaway into the fight with the 6’6” Wladimir.
The Fury-Cunningham fight is only an eliminator for the IBF #2 spot, so there’s still going to be a lot of hard work for the winner of that fight.
In International Boxing Federation has ordered that the winner of Fury-Cunningham has to face Pulev. I can pretty much guess how this is going to go.
By Scott Gilfoid: #4 WBC heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (20-0, 14 KO’s) is saying one of the television networks in the United States turned down both Deontay Wilder and Bryant Jennings as an opponent for his April 20th fight in New York. Fury says they only wanted 36-year-old Tomasz Adamek or 36-year-old Steve Cunningham (25-5, 12 KO’s). Fury and #12 IBF Cunningham will be fighting on April 20th.

Sky Sports reports that the recently beaten former IBF cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham (25-5, 12 KO’s) is the likely opponent the 24-year-old Fury will be facing in this fight.
