Donaire-Narvaez
Donaire vs. Narvaez: Nonito takes on another short guy
By Chris Williams: Once again Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18 KO’s) faces another short guy, this time it’s the tiny 5’3″ Omar Narvaez (35-0-2, 19 KO’s) on October 22nd at the MSG-WaMu Theater, in New York, New York. Narvaez just happens to be 36-years-old, and fights in a division below Donaire at super flyweight.

Donaire faces an old small guy in 36-year-old Narvaez in New York on October 22
By Chris Williams: Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18 KO’s) is facing one more small guy in his next fight on October 22nd before moving up in weight to the super bantamweight division to chase a small handful of names in that weight class. Before doing so, Donaire takes on a 36-year-old super flyweight with limited height, reach, speed and experience in Omar Narvaez (35-0-2, 19 KO’s) at the MSG – WaMu theater, in New York, New York.
Donaire vs. Narvaez: Nonito takes on another much smaller opponent
By Chris Williams: While some boxing fans are excited about WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18 KO’s) taking on unbeaten WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez (35-0-2, 19 KO’s) on October 22nd, I’m not one of them. The Donaire-Narvaez fight will be taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York, Donaire’s promoter Bob Arum reported today.
Donaire to fight Narvaez on Ocotber 22nd on HBO
By Chris Williams: WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18 KO’s) will be fighting undefeated WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez (35-0-2, 19 KO’s) on October 22nd on HBO, according to news from ringtv. I kind of like this fight, but it’s still a match-up that’s heavily slanted in Donaire’s favor. He’s 5’7″, and Narvaez is a 5’3″ super flyweight.
