Cotto vs. Margarito
Margarito: F**K Cotto! It’s going to hurt like I’m using plaster
What will Cotto’s excuse be when he gets beat again by Margarito?
By Dan Ambrose: We already know what WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto’s excuse was for getting destroyed last time he fought Antonio Margarito three years ago. Cotto has made sure to let everyone know that he strongly suspects that Margarito fought him with plaster in his hand wraps in order to beat him in 2008.
Chavez Jr. plans on taking a tuneup in Jan or Feb before facing Cotto-Margarito winner
By Jason Kim: WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (44-0-1, 31 KO’s) plans for a quick return to the ring in either January or February 2012 to fight a tune-up bout on HBO to get ready for a big money fight against the winner of next months’ clash between WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.
Cotto-Margarito: Why is Miguel so convinced that Margarito fought with loaded handwraps?
Cotto-Margarito: I hope Cotto is getting his knees ready for this fight
Cotto needs to forget about the Chavez Jr. bout
By Dan Ambrose: Bob Arum wants to match up his fighters WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and WBO junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. I think that’s a really bad idea if you’re a Cotto fan. Whether he defeats Antonio Margarito or loses to him again when they meet up for their rematch on December 3rd, Cotto is going to take a lot of punishment in that fight and there won’t be much left of Cotto for him to turn around and take on a big hulking middleweight like Chavez Jr.
Cotto about to make the mistake of fighting Margarito with anger
Cotto-Margarito: Look for Miguel to take a knee to get out of the fight when the going gets tough
By Dan Ambrose: I’m really looking for a good fight between WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (36-2, 29 KO’s) and Antonio Margarito (38-7, 27 KO’s) on December 3rd, but I’m thinking this fight will be marred by Cotto taking the easy way out when his thin skin starts to break up around his face from the hard shots from the tough Mexican warrior.
