Will the Bradley-Marquez winner face Pacquiao again?

marquez544By Chris Williams: This Saturday’s fight between WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) and Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) will have the option to face Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao for a much bigger payday than what they’ll be getting this Saturday against each other.

Marquez has already said that he’s content with his knockout win over Pacquiao from last December, and that he doesn’t feel the need to fight him again. However, Marquez will have few offers for big money fights after this Saturday’s fight unless he does fight Pacquiao.

Bradley: Another Hall of Fame fighter going down the drain

bradley5567By Dan Ambrose: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) is ready to take another Hall of Fame scalp this Saturday night when he defends his title against the well accomplished Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) on HBO from Las Vegas, Nevada. Bradley already took the popular fighter Manny Pacquiao’s scalp last year, and now he’s looking to take the almost equally popular Marquez’s on Saturday.

Bradley sees a victory over Marquez putting him in the history books because no one fighter has beaten both Marquez and Pacquiao before, and he would be the first to take them both down. The only name that would be missing from his list after that would be Floyd Mayweather Jr., if he could get a fight with him.

Marquez: Tim Bradley has speed but no power

marquez86By Eric Thomas: Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) isn’t worried about the power of WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) in their fight this Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Marquez has studied Bradley’s past fights and noted that he’s a weak puncher but that he’s fast.

Marquez is mostly concerned with being outworked by Bradley due to his ability to throw a lot of fast combinations.

This is why Marquez has focused more on his speed in training camp than his power like he did in his last fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Fight Week: Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez preview

bradley6544By Cutman’s Stool: This is now fight week and the build-up is in full swing for a fight which I am highly anticipating. The “Desert Storm”, Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12 KO) is defending his WBO welterweight title against boxing veteran Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO). Live from Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday night, in my mind this is a real 50/50 fight. A fight which is extremely hard to predict who will prevail after both warriors collide.

The title holder Timothy Bradley, earlier this year competed in a narrow decision win over Ruslan Provodnikov which is a strong contender for fight of the year. Against Provodnikov, Bradley felt that he needed to show the world that he is a true world champion. His decision win against the great Manny Pacquiao gained him a lot of bad publicity, because it was clear that Pacquiao really won the fight but got robbed by the judges.

Marquez: I’ll chase Bradley down if he runs

marquez65By Allan Fox: Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) has really trimmed down his physique in getting ready for his fight against WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) this Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marquez, 40, realizes that he’s going to have to spend a good part of the fight trying to track Bradley down, and he appears to have backed off the muscle-building exercises to focus more on speed and endurance to be able to get to the quicker fighter.

Marquez said “Bradley talks and talks because he’s afraid to lose. If he wants to box by running away, I’ll chase him down with my experience and intelligence. On October 12th, the victory won’t just be mine; it’s for all my fans. And above all, for my country.”

Bradley: Marquez doesn’t know what he’s in for

bradley757By Allan Fox: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) expects to punish Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) this Saturday in their pay-per-view fight on HBO from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although the 30-year-old Bradley isn’t known for being much of a power puncher, he expects his speed enable him to catch the 40-year-old Marquez with a shot that he doesn’t see coming that will result in Marquez getting knocked out if he tries to trade shots with him.

Timothey Bradley V Juan Manuel Marquez: WBO Welterweight World Title

marquez66By Sevak Sarkisian: A few weeks ago, fight fans witnessed the most anticipated fight of the year on Show Time PPV between Floyd Mayweather and Saul Alvarez. However, the fight didn’t match the hype surrounding it and wasn’t competitive in the least bit. It was another Picasso like performance by Mayweather and Alvarez turned out to be just another number on Mayweather’s win column.

However, another PPV event is on the horizon and even though it’s not nearly as big of an event as Mayweather v Alvarez it’s a guarantee that it will be a much more exciting and competitive fight. On October 12th, Tim Bradley (30-0-12KO’s) will defend his WBO welterweight world title against future hall of famer Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1-40KO’s) at the Thomas & Mac Center in Las Vegas. The bout will be televised live on HBO PPV and Bradley’s welterweight title will be on the line.

Bradley vows to whip Marquez

bradley66By Dan Ambrose: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (30-0, 12 KO’s) refuses to see his 40-year-old opponent Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KO’s) as having any real chance of beating him in their fight this month on HBO on October 12th. Bradley sees the slow moving Marquez as perfect for his style of fighting, and he plans on exposing him in this fight the way that Floyd Mayweather Jr. exposed Marquez 4 years ago when he easily beat him by a lopsided decision in 2009.

Bradley said this via Dan Rafael “I’m gonna whup his a** and the judges will give me the decision. That’s the bottom line.”
