Why doesn’t Pacquiao fight Bradley instead of Cotto again?
By Chris Williams: There’s less than a week to go before Floyd Mayweather Jr. is ruled out as Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent on November 13th, unless Mayweather speaks up before then and agrees to the contract that Bob Arum has sent to him. I’m not holding my breath on that happening, though, so it’s looking like a back-up plan will have to be used for Pacquiao.

In an article at East Side Boxing’s On the Ropes program, Bradley says “That fight [Pacquiao-Mayweather] will never happen. I don’t think that will ever happen due to fact that Mayweather wants certain things a certain way. Manny wants things a certain way, both of these guys are at the top of their game. It’s going to be hard to negotiate a fight like that unless Floyd either takes 50-50 or Pacman agrees to the drug testing.”

In an inteview by Stephen Edwards at Boxingtalk.com, the 26-year-old Bradley said “I would be happy to step up [and fight Mayweather or Pacquiao]. I’m taking this fight [speaking about his July 17th bout against Luis Carlos Abregu] at 147, because there was nobody else to fight. The fight with Marcos Maidana fell through and nobody was available, so I want to fight see how I feel. If I feel good, I will go back and forth.”
