By Dan Ambrose: There are quite a few boxing fans who are leaning in the direction of Saul “ Canelo” Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KOs) to defeat WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KOs) in their fight next month on November 21st on HBO pay-per-view at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rosado thinks that Cotto’s superior boxing ability will enable him to out-box Canelo and get the victory. Rosado notes that the type of fighters that have given Cotto problems in the past where aggressive fighters that put a lot of pressure on him. Canelo doesn’t have the engine to fight hard for more than 10 seconds at a time before he has to back off and take a rest break on the outside.
