By Dan Ambrose: Former two division world champion Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31 KO) says he still hasn’t made a decision about his career. He’s been out of the since September of 2014 after losing a second fight to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Maidana has put on a lot of weight since his second fight against Mayweather, and it’s unclear when/if Maidana will be returning to the ring to continue his career. His trainer Robert Garcia has talked recently of Maidana returning to the ring at some point, but his latest interview gives the appearance that Maidana isn’t sure whether he’ll continue fighting or not.

The 32-year-old Maidana will be back inside the ring in 2016, possibly fighting at 154 rather than 147. Maidana, a two division world champion, reportedly wants to take it easy with his family in Argentina in 2015 instead of getting back into a grueling training camp.
