By Scott Gilfoid: It’s not Errol Spence’s intention to try and blast out IBF welterweight champion Kell “Special K” Brook (36-1, 25 KOs) earlier than middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin did in beating him by a 5th round knockout on September 10 last year, but he still wants to get him out of there in a better fashion. Brook and Spence will be fighting on May 27 at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England.
By Dan Ambrose: Former 4 time world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner says IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin will lose to Saul “Canelo” Alvarez when the two of them get around to facing each other. Broner is picking Canelo to knock Golovkin out with a head shot.
By Dan Ambrose: Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) will not be facing WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (24-0, 12 KOs) in a unification fight on June 10 like what had previously talked about, as he plans on waiting until September to face Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) instead. Yahoo Sports news is reporting that their sources is saying that the 35-year-old GGG will sit outside of the ring rather than take a fight against Saunders.
By Dan Ambrose: Saul Canelo Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) says he can do what Daniel Jacobs did against middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) in their fight last month, and he thinks he can do what he did but in a much better way. Canelo says the media is just now finding out about Golovkin’s flaws as a fighter, but he always knew what those flaws were. Canelo says Golovkin can’t handle movement and he can’t fight on the inside or while backing up.
By Dan Ambrose: Andre Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) has ruled out entirely him moving back down to 168 to fight unbeaten Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) after he moves up to super middleweight. Ward says that it’s too hard to move back down in weight. He doesn’t want to put himself in that position where he has to lose weight to go back to his old division. However, Ward is still open to fighting Golovkin if he’s willing to move up to 175 to fight him.

Golovkin and his management believe he is the most feared fighter in boxing. Recently Golovkin fought Daniel Jacobs who was seen by Golovkin’s promoters as the number two middleweight in boxing on PPV. During this so-called clash of champions between Golovkin and a fighter who in my opinion fought much better than he should have, Golovkin pulled in a whopping 170k pay per view buys after a tough negotiation with Jacobs over what Jacobs wanted for the fight.

Sanchez says he doesn’t know where they came up with Golovkin being injured, but he says not injured. Sanchez would obviously know if Golovkin came out of the Daniel Jacobs fight with an injury.

Khan was knocked out by Canelo just last year, and he came away from that experience in awe of the Golden Boy star’s talent. Khan has already picked Canelo to defeat middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin 37-0, 33 KOs). Khan now sees that as an easy fight for Canelo where he totally dominated the 34-year-old Golovkin.
By Dan Ambrose: Frank Warren, the promoter for WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders, says the negotiations with IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin are presently up in the air due in part to the Kazakhstan fighter being injured. Golovkin’s injury is holding up him signing the contract for the Saunders fight. Some boxing fans might believe that this is a stalling tactic by Golovkin and his team to give them more time to negotiate a fight against Saul Canelo Alvarez. Team Golovkin should already know by now whether they’ll be able to get a fight against Canelo in September.
