Mayweather-Ortiz: Victor looking overtrained and thin
By Chris Williams: Photo credit: Gene Blevins – Hoganphotos/Golden Boy Promotions. Ramiro González – I’m kind of concerned about WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KO’s) after looking at how thin and over-trained he appears after I watched episode 3 of the HBO Mayweather/Ortiz 24/7 series last Saturday night. The skin is start to hang off of Ortiz’s face and his muscles are starting to look too thin for him.

By William Mackay: WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan got some more bad news today when unbeaten cash cow Floyd Mayweather Jr. once again told him the straight truth about what Khan needs to do if he wants to fight him. The loss of Mattysse-Morales really hurts the Mayweather-Ortiz PPV card
By Jason Kim: Things are looking awfully bleak for the September 17th Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz pay per view card with the loss of the Erik Morales vs. Lucas Matthysse fight on Thursday with the news that Matthysse was pulling out due to a severe viral infection. The fight is going for $50+ on PPV, and that’s a lot of money for what appears to be only one good fight between Mayweather and Ortiz. Unless a suitable big-named opponent is found to step in and fight Morales, I can see this hurting the PPV sales numbers.
