Which country has the most world titles?
The ball is in Floyd’s court
By John F. McKenna (McJack): World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s), by his agreement to take a smaller percentage in a huge mega fight with undefeated WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26 KO’s) has successfully put the ball in “Money” Mayweather’s court. As if playing in a high stakes game of chess Pacquiao anticipating a possible delay because of the money split has trumped Floyd in advance by agreeing in advance to take a smaller cut.
Pacquiao’s dismal performance against Marquez makes it tough to ask for a 50-50 deal with Mayweather
By Chris Williams: It may be a shock to some Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s) coming out today on his 33rd birthday and stating that he’s willing to take a smaller percentage to make the fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012, but I think Pacquiao really has no other choice in light of his horrible performance in winning a controversial 12 round decision over 38-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez last month.

McKenna (McJack): It is generally acknowledged by boxing fans that WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26 KO’s) is the most technically brilliant fighter of his generation. It is also a given that he would have given any of the great fighters from past generations a run for their money.

McKenna (McJack): After his controversial victory over WBO/WBA lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KO’s) on November 12 the perception of many boxing fans changed about the possible outcome of a showdown between World Boxing Council (WBC) welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26 KO’s) and WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO’s).
Hatton: Mayweather would beat Pacquiao
By Chris Williams: Ricky Hatton came out this week and said that Floyd Mayweather Jr. would wipe the deck with Manny Pacquiao if they were to ever get around to fighting. This is yet another fighter that sees clearly that Mayweather is simply too god for the smaller Filipino fighter and would make mincemeat of him if Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum would allow Pacquiao to fight Mayweather.
