By Dan Ambrose: WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) had been looking good in his first 20 fights beating the likes of an old Junior Witter and a primitive Juan Urango. But in Alexander’s last fight against Andriy Kotelnik, Alexander was badly exposed when the Ukrainian took the fight to Alexander, and wore him down and battered him with shots in the second half of the fight. Forget about the 12 round decision that Alexander won, he really should have lost that fight and many boxing fans will agree to that.

Bradley vs. Alexander: The winner gets Khan
By Jim Dower: In what will likely be one of the best fights of 2011, unbeaten WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) will be going up against undefeated WBO title holder Timothy Bradley in 12 rounds of action on January 29th at the Pontiac Silverdome, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Should Maidana fight the Bradley-Alexander winner instead of Khan?
By William Mackay: I think HBO would really help themselves if they pushed to have Argentinian knockout artist Marcos Maidana (29-2, 27 KO’s) face the winner of the Timothy Bradley vs. Devon Alexander bout instead of WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan. Think of it it like this way: By having Maidana fight Bradley or Alexander first, it would give boxing fans another chance to see the division’s most exciting fighter – Maidana – and then possibly set up a rematch between Khan and Maidana should Maidana beat the Alexander-Bradley winner.
Bradley-Alexander: Timothy will have far too much heart for Devon to handle
By Eric Thomas: WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) has a tough task ahead of him in his fight next month on January 29th against World Boxing Organization (WBO) light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KO’s) when they battle it out at the Silverdome, in Pontiac, Michigan. This isn’t going to be a home town fight for Alexander, so he’s actually going to have to prove that he’s the better fighter in the ring rather than depend on being bailed out by the judges like in his last fight against Andriy Kotelnik in August.
Alexander-Bradley: Devon needs to raise his game if he wants to win this fight
By Jason Kim: WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) needs to really raise his game a couple of notches if he wants to come out on top in his big fight next month against WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KO’s) on January 29th at the Silverdome, in Pontiac, Michigan. This is going to be the biggest test of the young 23-year-old Alexander’s career and he may not be mature enough to pass it.
Alexander vs. Bradley – What they bring to the table
By Mark Hepplestall: Unbeaten boxers Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley are to fight next month, the fight is a unification bout and the winner is being pushed into another unification bout with Amir Khan later in 2011. WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has a record of 26-0, with 11 KO’s which is a 40% KO ratio, while World Boxing Council title holder Devon Alexander has a record of 21-0, 13 KO’s which makes a 60% KO ratio.
Bradley says fight with Alexander has come too soon
By Jim Dower: Unbeaten WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KO’s has an important tournament-like fight coming up next month against World Boxing Council (WBC) title holder Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) at the Silverdome, in Pontiac, Michigan. The fight is especially important for Bradley because if he can get by Alexander, presumably Bradley will be getting a fight against the division’s new cash cow WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan.
Bradley vs Alexander on January 29th is going to be a fantastic fight
By Robert Dean: Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander are both great for the sport of boxing. They don’t shy away from tough competition and real matchups that the fans are interested to follow and watch. Too often boxing has contests where one overwhelming favorite wants an easy win against an underdog looking for a payday.
Bradley-Alexander: Timothy on his way to proving he’s the best in the light welterweight division
By Jason Kim: Unbeaten WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KO’s) will be making his move for the number one position in the light welterweight division by taking on WBC light welterweight title holder Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) on January 29th at the Silverdome, in Pontiac, Michigan. For the 27-year-old Bradley, this is the first part of his work to proving he’s the best fighter in the division. The 2nd part, provided that he beats Alexander, will be Bradley’s eventual fight against World Boxing Association light welterweight champion Amir Khan, if Khan ever takes the fight and doesn’t avoid it.
Alexander-Bradley: Timothy will take this fight
