By Allan Fox: WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (24-0, 15 KO’s) captured the Ring magazine light welterweight strap with his 4th round TKO win over Amir Khan last Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Khan-Garcia fight was for the vacant Ring belt, and Garcia had little trouble beating Khan to capture the prestigious belt.

For the first two rounds Khan kept Garcia on the end of his lighting fast jab, while firing in right hands and fighting in no more than twos and threes.
