Carl Frampton rates Nonito Donaire highly
By Jim Dower: Former two division world champion Carl Frampton (24-1, 14 KOs) has a lot of respect for former four division world champion Nonito Donaire (38-4, 24 KOs). The two are facing each other this Saturday night for the interim WBO featherweight title at The SSE in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Frampton sees Donaire as a make or break fight
By Scott Gilfoid: Carl Frampton (24-1, 14 KOs) is taking his fight this Saturday against Nonito Donaire (38-4, 24 KOs) very seriously, as a lot is at stake in terms of fights against WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez and a fight against the winner of the Lee Selby vs. Josh Warrington contest. The World Boxing Organization interim featherweight title will be on the line on Saturday for the Frampton-Donaire fight.

Carl Frampton sounding desperate for Santa Cruz fight
By Scott Gilfoid: Carl Frampton (24-1, 14 KOs) has given up on the idea of trying to lure WBA Super World featherweight champion Leo ‘El Torremoto’ Santa Cruz (34-1-1, 19 KOs) to Belfast, Northern Ireland for a third fight between them. Frampton, 30, now says he’s willing to come to the U.S to face Santa Cruz in Las Vegas, Nevada for a third fight.
Frampton not looking past DANGEROUS Donaire
By Scott Gilfoid: Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton says he’s not looking past former 4 division world champion Nonito ‘The Filipino Flash’ Donaire in their fight on April 21 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Frampton’s main goal for 2018 is to beat the winner of the May 19th fight between IBF World featherweight champion Lee Selby and Josh Warrington. However, Frampton is saying that his fight with Donaire could be a WBO featherweight title eliminator. The winner of the Frampton-Donaire fight will be the mandatory challenger to the winner of the Oscar Valdez vs. Scott Quigg match. I think I speak for the boxing world when I say the fans would prefer to see Frampton face the Valdez-Quigg winnner than the Selby-Warrington winner.
