By Nicklasleander: Kalle Sauerland, the promoter of 5-time super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (46-3, 35 KO’s), was interview by danish television following danish middleweight contender Patrick Nielsen’s (22-0, 11 KO’s) 2. round stoppage over 38-year old American Tony Jeter (16-4-1, 11 KO’s). Sauerland said that Kessler was yet to decide, whether he would fight again or not. They would, however, meet next week to decide the fate of Kessler, who too, was interviewed, but declined to answer questions about his future.
Kessler last fight was in may of last year, losing a thrilling unanimous decision to WBA/IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch (32-2, 23 KO’s). A third fight against Froch was in the talks following the fight.
