We are talking about the fight between two living legends of the sport of boxing; the fight between this generation’s most dominating boxers; we are talking about the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

The event was billed as “The Fight of the Century”, and it was the type of fight that even non-boxing fans would feel tempted to buy, but there was one thing that the hardcore fans of the sweet science knew, and casual fans didn’t; that this event never be able to live up to its hype.

Reasons why Floyd will Select Khan as His Next Opponent

It has been talked a lot that Floyd Mayweather Jr’s next opponent will be Amir Khan. Does Khan deserve a fight against the sport’s pounds for pound best in the World?

Well, looking at his lackluster performances in getting KO’d by Danny Garcia in 2012, losing to B-level fighter Lamont Peterson, and after getting knocked down while struggling to get a “home-cooking” close decision against whatever was left of a guy who used to be a decent fighter in his prime, Julio Diaz, we can clearly say that he doesn’t deserve that fight. But, looking at the business side of boxing, it would be the fight that would make all the sense in the world.
