Mora absorbs early damage, stabilizes his featherweight standing, while Cordero’s disputed verdict stirs officiating debate on the undercard.

Alberto Mora protected his unbeaten featherweight record and strengthened his rankings path with a unanimous decision over Jose Amaro after climbing off the canvas to regain tactical order across ten rounds.

Amaro dropped Mora inside the opening moments with a straight left that forced the favorite to recalibrate under pressure. Mora responded with heavy shot selection and cleaner scoring, producing cards of 97-92 twice and 96-93.

Amaro threw more. Mora landed heavier. Amaro shook him again in the eighth with a right hook, yet Mora answered in the ninth with his sharpest combinations and closed the fight dictating exchanges.

Mora Answers Knockdown; Officiating Draws Attention

The result moves Mora closer to meaningful featherweight assignments where unbeaten records attract sanctioning attention and broadcast interest.

Abraham Cordero edged Eduardo Martinez via split decision in a ten round junior welterweight fight that left the building audibly divided. Scores read 97-93 and 96-94 for Cordero, 96-95 for Martinez, a verdict that preserved Cordero’s run and halted Martinez’s six-fight stretch.

Sebastian Juarez maintained his undefeated status with a clear six round decision over Ernesto Sanchez at junior middleweight, applying steady ring generalship and disciplined punch selection across the distance.

Order held where it counted, and Mora exits the night as the featherweight who solved trouble and kept his upward route intact.
