Promoter Eddie Hearn proudly claimed that the “whole world is calling” Conor Benn’s name, wanting to fight him after his win over Peter Dobson last Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Hearn notes that Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) is in demand, and he expects him to be involved in a “big fight next,” and he’s not kidding. If Hearn doesn’t hold Benn back, he could have a big name next.
The Matchroom boss wants Chris Eubank Jr. for Benn, but he’s a 34-year-old who has never won a world title, and he doesn’t compare with some of the other fighters Conor can fight.
Gervonta Davis says he wants to fight Benn next, and if that fight happens, it’ll be a big one, even if it’s in the U.S. rather than the UK or Saudi Arabia. Tank would be an idea option for Benn if the Saudis are interested in staging that fight.
Devin Haney’s dad, Bill Haney, crashed the post-fight press conference last Saturday night at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, to let Benn know they’re interested.
If Benn doesn’t fight Tank Davis or Haney next, his next fight could come down to one of these three:
– Mario Barrios
– Chris Eubank Jr.
– Kell Brook

“I’m ready to go back out again in April like straight away,” said Conor Benn to Boxing Social about when he wants to fight next. “He wasn’t durable and tough. He was just negative. Like, ‘Do something,'” said Benn when asked if he expected Peter Dobson to be ‘Durable and tough.’
“It was a little bit frustrating. I’ve expected but I’ve experienced people like this early on in my career. It’s all like journeyman winged them in. There wasn’t much class to it. There wasn’t much to it. We’ve had harder spars than that. We’ve had better spars than that,” said Benn.
