“Pitbull” Cruz Vows to Muzzle “Rolly” in March 30th Showdown

Isaac Cruz says he’s going to transform WBA light welterweight champion ‘Rolly’ Romero into a blubbering “Chihuahua” on March 30th when they fight in the chief support bout on Amazon Prime PPV at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Cruz (25-2-1, 17 KOs) is already tired of listening to Rolly (15-1, 13 KOs) badmouth him, and he can’t wait to dethrone him and put him in his place.

Rolly towered over the 5’5″ ‘Pitbull’ Cruz during their face-to-face today, and it was obvious, looking at these two, that Isaac was pulled in from the division below.

Mayweather Promotions and PBC could be making the mistake of using Pitbull as Rolly’s opponent because there’s an excellent chance that he will defeat him on March 30th and win by knockout.

Although Rolly has the size, he’s limited on defense and looks ill-suited to fighting highly-ranked opponents.

Cruz Ready to Muzzle Rolly

“I’ll let him talk right now because he’s going to be the one crying like a chihuahua when the fight is over,” said Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz today at the kickoff press conference, talking about his fight against WBA light welterweight champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero on March 30th on Amazon Prime PPV.

“My goal is to shut ‘Rolly’ up and show the world that I am a true Mexican world champion. I’m bringing that belt back home,” said Cruz.

If Pitbull Cruz wins this fight, he’ll have the perfect bait to lure Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis to return to the 140-lb division to give him the rematch that he’s been waiting for since his close loss to him in 2021.

Rolly likely has a rematch clause for the Cruz fight, given that this is a voluntary defense for him. Still, there are ways around that if Pitbull has a chance for a fight against Tank Davis.

Mexican Pride and Determination

“I’m thankful to everyone for making this fight possible. I can’t wait to put on a show in the ring on March 30.

“We’ve kept working time after time and fight after fight. That’s how we earned another world title opportunity.

“I feel like I’m ready for this challenge. I’m a proud Mexican fighter and I’m going to show what I can do on March 30,” said Cruz.
