Lewis Crocker – Jose Felix – Fight Results & Highlights

Former WBO European Welterweight champion Lewis Crocker, in a tough fight, stopped Jose  Felix in the fifth round for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental Welter title, but since he didn’t make weight cannot win the title on Saturday night at the Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK.

In the Main Event, former WBO Euro Welter champ ‘The Crock’ Lewis Crocker, 18-0 (10), defeated Jose ‘Joseito’ Felix, Jr., 40-6-1 (31) at 1:54 of the fifth round for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental welterweight title it was announced, but Crocker didn’t make weight to win the title.

In the first round, Felix moved well around the ring, countering Crocker. In the final two minutes, Felix stood his ground out-landing Crocker taking the round. In the second round, Felix continued moving and countering Crocker, who kept his hands high, landing little.

Another good round for Felix. In the third round, Crocker started landing but got hit low by Felix, with Referee Marcus McDonnell seconds later taking away a point due to another low blow by Felix.

In the fourth round, Crocker dropped Felix halfway through the round with a flurry of body shots, dropping him for an 8-count from referee McDonnell. Felix managed to get through the round boxing well.

In the fifth round, with a little over a minute remaining, Crocker landed a right to the body and a left on the chin, dropping Felix under the bottom rope for an 8-count from referee McDonnell. Upon rising, the fight was stopped.

WBA Continental Welter champ southpaw Paddy ‘Real Deal’ Donovan, 13-0 (10), stopped tough Williams Andres Herrera, 15-3 (6), at 1:44 of the seventh round of a scheduled ten rounds.

In the first two rounds, southpaw Donovan had his way. In the third round, Donovan continued outworking Herrera, who used occasional jabs coming forward. In the fourth round’s first minute, Donovan landed a pair of right uppercuts to the mid-section of Herrera. Then Donovan was warned by Referee Bob Williams not to push down on the head of Herrera, who came in low.

In the fifth round, Herrera had a good round, landing rights to the body of Donovan throughout the round. In the sixth round’s first minute, Herrera had the nose of Donovan bleeding. In the final minute, Donovan came back with right uppercuts, but Herrera never stopped coming forward.

In the seventh round Donovan hurt Herrera with a right to the body and pushed Herrera down when referee Williams called it a it a knockdown. Donovan was all over him landing three punches to the body when referee Williams prematurely waved it off. Some of the fans were not happy with the stoppage.

2020 Olympian and IBF Inter-Continental Cruiser champ “Big” Cheavon “C4” Clarke, 8-0 (6), stopped former EBU European champ Tommy “Mac Attack” McCarthy, 20-6 (10) at 1:28 of the fourth round for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Cruiser title.

In the first round, Clarke went right after McCarthy with good bodywork for the first minute. From that point on, McCarthy boxed well enough to keep Clarke following him around to the end of the round. In the second round, it was more of the same, with Clarke starting fast and McCarthy giving him a boxing lesson.

In the third round, once again, Clarke came out strong before McCarthy stopped him in his tracks, boxing him well. In the final seconds, Clarke hurt McCarthy with a right on the chin, getting him in trouble at the bell. Walking unsteadily to his corner. The referee was referee Steve Gray

WBA Inter-Continental Welter champ Conah Walker, 13-2-1 (5) stopped Welsh champ Lloyd Germain, 9-1 (1) at 1:33 of the third round of a scheduled ten rounds.

In the first two rounds, Walker outscored Germain for the most part in a pair of competitive rounds.

In the third round Walker dropped Germain with a left on the chin drove Germain into the ropes and then dropped him with a left on the chin for an 8-count from Referee Bob Williams.

Walker dropped Germain to a knee for a second time with a right on the chin for another 8-count. Seconds later, a right on the chin from Walker and down went Germain for a third time when referee Williams waved it off.

Super Feather Kurt Walker, 10-0 (1), defeated Darwing Martinez, 8-18-2 (6) over six rounds.

In the first three rounds, it was all Walker. In the last three rounds, Walker continued to outwork Martinez for an easy win. The referee, Eammon Magill, scored it 60-54.

Super Welter Emmanuel ‘Leli’ Buttigieg, 2-0 (1) defeated Artjom Spatar, 4-5 (1) over 4×3 rounds. The referee, Eammon Magill, scored it 40-36.

Super Feather southpaw Giorgio Visioli, 2-0 (2), stopped Samuel Pikire, 4-3 (0), at 1:34 of the second round of a scheduled six rounds.

In the first round Visioli outworked Pikire. In the second round Visioli countered a missed right from Pikire with a left on the chin and down he went.

The referee was Hugh Russell, Jr., and the ring Announcer was David Diamante.
