Jaime Munguia, the undefeated ex-champ who’s never tasted defeat, delivered a blockbuster beatdown to John Ryder. Munguia decided he wasn’t in the mood for a full 12 rounds, opting instead to drop Ryder to the canvas four times—twice just for good measure in the ninth—before Ryder’s corner threw in the towel, signaling game over. Munguia walked away, not just with the win but also the WBC Silver Super Middleweight bling, all to the roar of 10,836 boxing fan voices.

Munguia, basking in the afterglow, couldn’t help but gloat a bit. “Worked my tail off for this, and look where it got me!” he quipped, hinting that his punch party was a deliberate strategy, not just wild swinging. He tipped his hat to Ryder, calling him a worthy adversary but made it clear he’s eyeing the bigger fish in the 168-pound pond. “Bring on the big guns; we’re hunting for that world title,” he declared, not-so-subtly nodding at a potential showdown with Canelo that’d have fans salivating.

The co-main event wasn’t short on fireworks either, with Oscar Collazo turning Reyneris Gutierrez’s world title dreams into dust in just three rounds. Collazo, the pride of Villalba, kept his WBO Minimumweight crown polished and firmly on his head, proving he’s more than just a flash in the pan.

Not to be outdone, Darius “DFG” Fulghum and Alantez Fox turned their fight into a chess match with gloves, going the full ten rounds. Fulghum, with his power moves, snagged a majority decision win, leaving Fox to ponder what could’ve been.

And let’s not forget Gabriela Fundora, who showed Christina Cruz the door in a 10-round thriller, keeping her IBF Female Flyweight title secure. The fight, a slow burn that exploded in the final round, had fans on their feet, proving the ladies can throw down with the best of them.

The undercard was stacked with action too. Daniel Garcia made quick work of Daniel Lugo, sending him packing in the first round with a flurry that Lugo couldn’t answer. Meanwhile, Gregory “Goyo” Morales and Ronal Ron threw down in a super featherweight scuffle that had Morales coming out on top despite a cut and a low blow warning.

Gael Cabrera and Miguel Ceballos duked it out in a featherweight frenzy that had the fans cheering, with Cabrera snagging the unanimous nod. And kicking things off, Johnny “Sugarcane” Cañas delivered a liver shot from hell to Kameeko Hall, ending the night early for Hall and setting the tone for a night of knockouts and nail-biters.
