Tickets are flying off the shelves, available at the Armory and through Ticketmaster.

Morrell, a Cuban star who’s made Minneapolis his boxing home, has been demolishing opponents left and right. His recent knockout of Olympic Bronze medalist Yamaguchi Falcao was nothing short of jaw-dropping. The man trains in Texas with the famous coach Ronnie Shields and has been on a knockout spree in 2022.

Morrell’s journey from Cuba to the professional boxing scene in Minneapolis is a testament to his dedication and hard work. His style is a blend of technical prowess and raw power, making him a thrilling fighter to watch. His ability to deliver crushing knockouts speaks volumes about his strength and skill.

Training under the guidance of Shields, Morrell has honed his abilities to a fine edge. His performances in the ring are a clear display of his hard work and commitment to the sport. Each fight he takes on is not just a battle; it’s a showcase of his evolving skill set, his strategic mind, and his unwavering determination.

Morrell’s rapid rise in just a few professional fights is remarkable. Capturing an interim title early in his career and consistently dominating in his subsequent bouts, he has proven that he’s not just a promising talent but a serious threat to anyone in his division. His dedication to his craft, his ability to adapt and overcome in the ring, and his impressive knockout record make him a standout athlete in boxing.

Morrell himself is pumped for the big night, ready to dazzle his home crowd and take down Agbeko, who he says has been calling him out. It’s personal, and he’s dedicating this fight to his family and fans.

Agbeko, hailing from Ghana and now based in Nashville, is on a hot winning streak, with recent victories under his belt. He’s determined to make this fight against Morrell a career-defining moment and etch his name in the super middleweight elite.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s own Chris Colbert is looking to quiet his critics and show there are different levels in boxing. And Jose Valenzuela, after nearly taking Colbert out in their first encounter, is itching to finish the job this time around.

On the flyweight scene, Martinez is gearing up for a fantastic performance, aiming to unify titles next year. But first, he’s got to get past the formidable Cordova, who’s ready to showcase his skills and grab the WBC Flyweight World Champion title.

And let’s not forget about the veterans – Guerrero and Berto. These two are ready to recreate their epic 2012 battle. Guerrero is all about giving fans a thrilling show, while Berto is determined to right past wrongs, just like he did with Victor Ortiz.

David Morrell Jr.:

“If you’re rude to me, get ready for a world of hurt. Talking smack? Well, it’s punishment time. This Saturday, I’m planning a knockout in the sixth or seventh round. Consider it a festive knockout gift from me.

Being the main event on SHOWTIME? Big deal for me. I was ready to rumble in April, and I’m double ready now. I’m here to show him and the doubters what I’m made of.

It’s going to be tougher for him this time around. I’m like fine wine, better than I was in April. I’m ready to take him down.

Right now, it’s all about Agbeko. I’m 100% in the game, body and mind. David Benavidez? He’s on my to-do list, but first, Agbeko’s going down.

I’m super excited for this opportunity. My family’s coming to watch me for the first time. It’s my time to shine. I want it all.

Having my family here isn’t stressful. It actually chills me out. No more worrying about them back in Cuba. Once I’m in the ring, it’s all Agbeko, all the time.”

Sena Agbeko:

“I’ve always wanted to be the big cheese in the super middleweight world. Facing the best is what I’m all about.

I can’t be mad at a guy who’s on the same quest. We both have our eyes on the champion’s belt. We were set to fight in April, but it feels like someone had a secret mission to postpone it.

I asked for this fight because I know what I’m capable of. I’ve done some cool stuff that’s gone under the radar. I just wanted a shot to prove myself.

I pushed hard to get this fight back because I deserve it. Big thanks to the universe, and to David and his team for saying yes.

They probably think I’m just another lamb to the slaughter. Little do they know, I’m a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This fight is like the grand finale of my dreams. I’ve been training like a champ for 12 years. Winning on Saturday? That’s everything to me. I’m ready to add my name to the list of awesome Ghanaian champions.”

Robert Guerrero:

“My hands are itching for some action, and it’s about time. A lot has changed over time, but as my dad says, ‘the older the bull, the tougher its horn.’ We’re geared up and ready.

Last time we had a fight, I was more of a lightweight stepping into the welterweight ring. Now, I’ve settled into this division properly. This fight’s going to have a whole different vibe.

We both were prepping in Vegas, running, training hard. I’m pumped for this rematch. Training at Vegas’ high altitude is something else.

If you’re familiar with me, Robert Guerrero, you know I never back down from a fight. We’re born fighters, it’s in our blood.

Andre Berto:

“Followers of mine know I’m always in top shape. This rematch, I’ve been waiting for it. Just like with Victor Ortiz, I never should’ve fought Guerrero the first time. Now, I’m on a mission for redemption before I hang up my gloves.

Robert’s a tough opponent, no doubt. He did his thing. But I’m really geared up for this rematch. Memories from our first fight still bug me. I’m eager to turn the tables this time. We’ve had an intense training period and we’re ready to bring it.

In our first match, I wasn’t mentally or physically in the right place. I was barely heavier after the weigh-in, and still, he only just managed to win. Not to downplay Robert, he’s a formidable opponent.

Even at this age, I’m feeling strong and focused. I didn’t go easy in training. I was sparring with young, strong fighters every day. I’m feeling energized and ready to go.”
