By Robert Segal:  A bulked-up looking Ryan Garcia is predicting a unanimous decision win by Errol Spence Jr over Terence Crawford on July 29th. Ryan has been training alongside Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) in Dallas, so he’s got to see him work out in preparing for this fight.

Ryan sees Spence applying a lot of pressure on WBO welterweight champion Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) and getting to him in the later rounds.

As big as Crawford is looking, he’s not going to be able to evade Spence’s pressure if he tries to run. Crawford has gotten too big in the last year, and he’s not tried to lose the weight. He must feel that it benefits him.

Crawford is a good puncher; perhaps he can fight Spence while being stationary. He’ll need to because if he can’t out-slug Spence, it’s going to be a long, grueling night for Crawford.

Watching Spence train will rub off on Ryan, as he now has a fighter to pattern his workout routines after, and he put in the hard work to be a force at 140.

They both have Derrick James as their coach, and it’s going to be interesting to see if Ryan can improve enough to become a world champion.

In an interview today with Showtime, Ryan revealed that he’ll be challenging Rolly Romero for his WBA light welterweight title. He didn’t say when that fight will happen, but that’s the one that Ryan wants.

“Part of another huge event. This is what boxing is about,” said Ryan Garcia to Showtime when asked about his thoughts on the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford fight.

“I feel that Errol is going to do what he does. He’s going to put that pressure on him, and he’s going to start getting to him in the later rounds.

“It’s going to be a good fight, but Spence is obviously going to win by a decision. I think by unanimous, but we’ll see. Terence is a bad man too, but I got Errol.

“We set the tone,” said Ryan Garcia about his fight with Gervonta Davis. “Boxing is going to keep elevating from here. Everybody knows the new blueprint now. Make the fights happen, big money is coming, and that’s it.

“That’s how you make money, and that’s how you make the fans happy. Just give them what they want.

“Being a part of it is a blessing. I didn’t even think I’d be doing this. I came to train, but I’m honored to be a part of this camp. He’s an animal, someone to look up to.

“I’m humbled just to be here, and it’s amazing to be able to train beside him right here. He’s aspiring, for sure.

“This man has overcome so many things. It’s not normal. He survived a car crash and came back, eye surgery, and came back. This man can’t be defeated, and that’s inspiring in itself, and if you see him train, he’s an animal as well.

“All those things about him really inspire me and push me to get better as a fighter.

“It led me to Dallas and led me to Derrick, and I pursued it. I’m here now, and I feel good. It’s family, and it’s a bond. I’m hungry, and that’s why I’m here everyday training.

“I didn’t even know this was happening, but I came to train with Derrick. Like said, it’s a blessing. I’m happy to be a part of the team. I’m improving, getting better, and I’m ready to get at it at 140. Bring on Rolly.

“He’s part of PBC. I already ran it once with PBC. I need to get my get-back.  So I’m going to beat Rolly’s a**, and we’re going to have that at 140.

“Yeah, for sure. I don’t feel the pressure, so I’m good,” said Ryan Garcia when asked if it’s nice to enjoy the Spence vs. Crawford fight as a fan.
