By Ken Hissner – The first one that comes to mind who stopped a major winning streak was Frankie “The Surgeon” Randall who in January of 1984 stopped Julio “JC” Cesar Chavez who at the time was 89-0-1. Chavez took the rematch.

In September of 1985, Light Heavyweight champion Michael Spinks defeated Heavyweight champion Larry “Easton Assassin” Holmes who was 48-0. He defeated Holmes in the rematch that was disputed.

In June of 1999, Dickie Ryan defeated Denmark’s “Super” Brian Nielsen, 49-0. It would be a year later that Nielsen won the rematch.

In May of 1922 for the American Light Heavyweight title Harry “The Pittsburgh Windmill” Greb defeated Gene “The Fighting Marine” Tunney, who was 47-0-2.

In March of 1943, Sammy Angott defeated Willie “Will o’ the Wisp” Pep, 62-0.

In February of 1943 Jake “Bronx Bull” LaMotta defeated “Sugar” Ray Robinson, 40-0. It was the only time LaMotta defeated Robinson on six tries.

In February of 1984, Gilles Elbilia defeated Italy’s Nina LaRocca, 56-0.  

In November 2013 Johan “El Terrible” Perez defeated Paul “The Pittsburgh Kid” Spadafora who was 48-0-1.

In December of 2013, Simpiwe Vetyeka defeated Chris “The Dragon” John, who was 48-0-3.

In November of 2020, Panya Pradabsri defeated Chayaphon Moonsri, who was 54-0.  

In March of 1998, Rosendo Alvarez drew with Ricardo “Finito” Lopez, who was 47-0 and ended his career at 51-0-1.

In September of 1994, Felix “Tito” Trinidad stopped Luis Yori Boy Campas, 56-0.

In February of 2008, Carlos Quintana defeated Paul “The Punisher” Williams who was 33-0.

In September 2001 Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins defeated Felix “Tito” Trinidad, 40-0.

In May of 1965 Fighting Harada defeated Eder Jofre, 47-0-3.

In October of 1974, Muhammad Ali stopped “Big” George Foreman, 40-0 winning the heavyweight title for a record third time.

In February of 1990 James “Buster” Douglas, stopped Mike Tyson, 37-0 for the heavyweight title. 

In April of 1960, Bartolo Soni stopped LaMar Clark, 42-0.

In March of 1971 “Smokin” Joe Frazier defeated Muhammad Ali, 31-0.

In August of 1981, Salvador Sanchez defeated Wilfredo Gomez, 32-0-1.
