By Scott Gilfoid: John Fury is up in arms over David Haye, predicting a victory for Dillian Whyte over Tyson Fury in their April 23rd fight.

John wants Haye to be banned by BT Sport from working the Fury vs. Whyte fight as one of their commentators for the broadcast from Wembley Stadium in London.
The way that John sees it, the 41-year-old Haye is consumed by jealousy because he couldn’t accomplish the things Tyson did during his career.
Gilfoid doesn’t know why John is so worked up against Haye being pro-Whyte. Haye will probably be the lone voice in favor of Whyte during the broadcast, and it’ll make it more interesting for the fans.
“David Haye is not allowed to comment on that show,” said John Fury to talkSport Boxing. “David Haye needs to take a back seat in the stands where nobody can see him.
“I’ve already made it quite clear to Frank Warren. He [Haye] is not allowed to be commentating on my son’s fight; otherwise, there will be a problem,” said John about not wanting Haye to work the Fury vs. Whyte fight on April 23rd.
“He’s a hater. I don’t want him near my family. His jealousy consumes him, and I don’t want him near the show.
“The type of opponent that you’d need to beat Tyson Fury – Dillian Whyte has all of those attributes,” said Haye to talkSport. “He can punch hard, he’s got cardio for days he’s got the desire and belief in himself.
“I think Whyte is going to pull off the upset. I think this is what he’s been waiting for.”
Haye is right. Whyte could win this fight, especially if he doesn’t gas out after four rounds like Deontay Wilder did last October in his trilogy fight with Fury.
It’s common knowledge that Deontay would have won that fight if he didn’t fade after the fourth because he had Fury down twice in that round.
I don’t see why John makes a big deal about Haye working the Fury-Whyte event for BT. If Fury isn’t good enough to beat Whyte, what difference does it make what Haye says?
If the other commentators are painting a picture that doesn’t relate to the reality of what’s taking place inside the ring, why should it be a big deal that Haye is telling it like it is?
Gilfoid hates to drizzle on John’s parade, but Fury is VERY beatable, and there’s an excellent chance that Whyte will beat the living daylights out of the 6’9″ ‘Gypsy King’ on the night.
Who cares if Haye is one of the commentators on the night? If Fury’s ship springs a major leak on April 23rd against Whyte, it’s not going to make a difference if David isn’t one of the crews of broadcasters. It might actually be entertaining to listen to Haye gloat afterward, telling everyone, ‘I told you so.’
“The bigger picture, we know that the world basically will be on Dillian Whyte’s side, won’t they?” said John Fury. “They’re all rooting for Dillian Whyte because he’s the one they’re expecting to topple a king, but kings don’t get toppled by people like him, especially when he’s got people like me around,” said John.
As you can see, John sounds VERY worried about this fight for Fury, and for a good reason. John knows that it could end on Saturday, and he sounds like he’s going to pieces over it.
Whyte could end Fury’s two-year reign as the WBC champion once and for all, which would be a good thing for the sport. Boxing needs some new blood, and Whyte would be perfect as one of the world champions.
“These boys are my life, nothing else. I doubt from looking at Dillian’s last performance that he can even hit Tyson unless Tyson gets bored with him and wants to go into a 50-50 scrap with him,” said John Fury.
