Floyd Mayweather Jr wants to train Tyron Woodley to beat Jake Paul

The idea is for Mayweather to train Woodley at his gym in Las Vegas to give him a cram course on the A-B-C’s of boxing in the two months before he meets up with the 24-year-old Jake on August 28th.
There’s not much time for the old wrestler Woodley to learn how to box well enough to keep from getting poleaxed by Jake like Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and Ali Eson Gib.
For Mayweather, you can argue that he has personal reasons for wanting to help train the 39-year-old Woodley to beat the young knockout artist Jake.
Recently, at the kickoff press conference for the Mayweather-Paul fight, Jake swiped Mayweather’s hat off his head while the two were face to face arguing.
Jake didn’t get far before Mayweather’s team of security jumped him, and they were able to retrieve his cap. However, the damage was done. Jake had riled Mayweather.
Now the 44-year-old retired former superstar boxer Mayweather wants to get payday by helping Woodley, who needs all the help he can get after losing his last four fights in the UFC competition.
Jake Paul has found his calling
“God gave me power and speed, and I feel like I was put on this Earth to box, as crazy as that sounds,” said Jake Paul to Fighthub.
“I feel like I’ve found my calling. I have the best team, the best coaches, and they don’t let me do one thing wrong in training.
“We got a game plan, we stick to the fundamentals, and we knock people out. I’m wearing Disney because he’s going to get knocked out by a Disney star.
“I’m going for McGregor. I’m going for Mayweather. I’m going for all of those guys. I want Kamaru Usman, Diaz. I got a long list. I’m not looking past Tyron at all. I have to take him out first,” said Jake Paul.
Conor McGregor would be an excellent choice for Jake after he gets past Woodley. It’s unclear whether McGregor will agree to fight Jake because thus far, he’s not shown any interest in facing him.
Jake has been trying to get a fight with McGregor for a while now, but the Irish fighter hasn’t taken him up on his offers.
This is “show business,” says Jake Paul
“These guys are all owned by Dana White, so who is Dana White going to let out of his contract to get knocked out?” said Jake Paul.
“The UFC fighters don’t have fair pay. Of all the sports that the percentage of the owners get vs. the athletes, they’re the lowest.
“Dana White…he’s taking their money. They’re the ones making the content, getting in the ring, and risking their lives.
“This is show business. A lot of people like to focus on the aspect of the sport, but it’s all the way around.
“You’re going to see fighters posting content a lot more, and you’re going to see fighters talking sh*t a lot more.
“This is the start of something that’s massive, and I’m going to help lead the way. Bet the house,” said Jake about him knocking out Woodley early.
If Jake destroys Woodley as he did to Askren and Nate Robinson, he’s going to have an avalanche of options for his next fight.
