Jermall Charlo TRASHES Eddie Hearn and Demetrius Andrade

By Chris Williams: Jermall Charlo tore into WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade and his promoter Eddie Hearn on Tuesday after being called out repeatedly for a fight.

The unbeaten Charlo (30-0, 22 KOs), who holds the WBC middleweight title, sent a message to “Hearns” to call his adviser Al Haymon to setup a fight between either him and ‘Boo Boo’ Andrade (29-0, 18 KOs) or Daniel Jacobs (36-3, 30 KOs).

Hearn has been pushing Charlo to fight Andrade

Andrade’s Matchroom Boxing USA promoter Hearn has been quite vocal in letting fans know about him making an offer directly to Charlo for him to face Demetrius in a unification fight at 160.

“We’re not even asking you to sign a network contract or promotional contract,” said Hearn to secondsout about him wanting Jermall Charlo to fight Andrade. “Just take the fight to see if you can unify the division. So hopefully he does, because that’s the fight we need to see.”

Judging from the annoyed way Charlo was speaking today, it sounds like he’s tired of being called out by Hearn, and he wants him to talk to Haymon to see if the Andrade and/or Jacobs fights can get made.

What could make it difficult to setup the Charlo-Jacobs or Charlo-Andrade fights is they’re on different platforms. Charlo is with Premier Boxing Champions, and fights on Showtime, whereas Jacobs and Andrade fight on DAZN.

Charlo dares Andrade or Jacobs to talk to him

“Demetrius Andrade, I’ll smack the f– [out of you,” said Jermall on social media. “Play with me in person. Go to the Wilder fight. I’ll see you at the Wilder fight. If you’re real, go to the Wilder fight.

“I’ll meet you at the Wilder fight,” said Charlo to Andrade. “Let’s turn up at Wilder-Fury. Jacobs, whoever wants to fight me, go to Wilder fight, and I’m going to pick you out the day of the fight.

“Stop playing with me. I’m the champ,” said Charlo. “What’s his name? Eddie Hearns, call Al Haymon. I don’t do that s—. You put the s— together. Eddie Hearns. You Eddie boy. B—, call Al.

“Stop calling me. You make it look like I don’t make fights,” Jermall said to Hearn. “And you stupid a– q—. You make the fights if you want to make it. Holler at me later,” said Jermall in sending a strong message to Hearn and Andrade.

If Hearn is willing to offer Charlo enough green to make the fight with Andrade worthwhile, then we’ll see that fight happening. But it’s going to be tough to get the deal done given that the two fighters are on separate platforms.

Daniel Jacobs fights at 168

That goes for Daniel Jacobs too. Not only is Jacobs on a different network than Jermall, but he’s now fighting in a different weight class at 168. For Jacobs to get a fight with Charlo, he’s going to need to come back down to 160 to make that match a reality. Danny was complaining last time he fought at 160.
