By Dean Bain: Anthony Joshua will compete in his 3rd fight on Thursday as part of prize-fighter the heavyweights UK V USA show at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, London, United Kingdom.

His opponent for the fight will be Hrvoje Kisicek who has a 5-6-0 record. Nobody is kidding themselves that this 6 rounder is going to be a test for Joshua, its a boost to his record and nothing else.

Most of Kisicek’s fights have gone the distance so I can only think Matchroom want to give Joshua rounds but that just isn’t going to happen. Kisicek’s best opponent has been Hughie Fury, Fury the man who say’s he is going to beat Tyson’s record for the youngest heavyweight champion was taken to the end bell against Kisicek in a 6 rounder.

Is it likely that Joshua is going to go the 6 rounds, I’d say very doubtful. I expect Joshua to be far to strong for this guy and finish him in the first half of the fight.

Matchroom have then matched him against 2 further journeyman.

I think Antony Joshua has great potential to be a world champion in the future but I don’t want to see him get a record like Deontay Wilder when he is matched with fighters he is just going to blast through.

After the next 3 fights he will the be at 5 professional fights. He needs moved on to fight the for the British title, forget the English or Commonwealth he is too good for this.

Anthony Joshua will be another one of the Team GB to keep an eye on, if pushed right he is going to be great to watch.
