Chisora: If I see Wladimir again, I’ll do worse than I did last time

wlad434By Scott Gilfoid: British heavyweight Dereck Chisora (15-4, 9 KO’s) still is unhappy with the way that IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko backed out of a fight with him in the past. Chisora previously spit in the face of Wladimir last year when he saw him in the ring before Chisora’s fight with his brother WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.

Chisora told EPIX “I hate those motherf*****s…the first fight me and his younger brother was done and he signed the contract. I spent so much money and at the last day he cancelled the fight. And then it happened, I spit in his face. If I see him again, I’ll do worse. I don’t regret it at all. I’ll piss on him the next time.”

Oh man, so much for Chisora turning over a new leaf and being a good one from now one. I just wonder what will happen if and when he does actually meet up with Wladimir. It’s a matter of time before they do see each other. Will Chisora go off on him and really take a leak or will he report to slapping or spitting like he did in the past?

Chisora spit right in Wladimir’s face and the big Ukrainian didn’t do a thing in response. On the previous day, Chisora slapped Vitali in the face during their stare down at their weigh-in before their fight. Vitali didn’t do anything either. However, when Chisora walked up on David Haye at the Chisora-Vitali post-fight press conference, Chisora got decked for his troubles and said he’s been glassed by Haye. You’d think that Chisora would have leaner his lesson after that time.

It’s troubling that Chisora is saying he doesn’t regret spitting in Wladimir’s face because that tells you he hasn’t learned anything from that. He had his boxing license suspended and he just recently got it back. But now he’s talking about wanting to mess with Wladimir again. You’d think that spitting in Wladimir’s face would be enough to calm Chisora down but it doesn’t seem like that’s the case.

This Saturday night, Chisora will be facing journeyman Hector Alfredo Avila (20-12-1, 13 KO’s) at the Wembley Arena in London, UK. Chisora will be fighting on the Nathan Cleverly vs. Robin Krasniqi undercard.
