Image: Will Pacquiao's cramps resurface for Marquez fight?By Chris Williams: It’s no secret that 33-year-old Manny Pacquiao has been plagued by leg cramps that started surfacing a couple of years and have haunted him in many of his fights during that time. His legs at one time was one of the Filipino’s best assets that he going for him. It’s been thought that Pacquiao’s powerful calves were what enabled him to score so many of his knockouts.

Unfortunately, Pacquiao has suffered leg cramps for the past two years in fights and the knockouts have dried up completely like a played out oil well. There’s no knockouts to be found by Pacquiao, and his trainer Freddie Roach is now looking kind of silly nowadays with his constant predictions of early knockout wins for him.

Pacquiao is going to need Roach and his strength and conditioning trainer Alex Ariza to try and solve what’s been causing Pacquiao’s legs to cramp up on him over and over again, because if he suffers cramps in his upcoming fight on December 8th against Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao will get thrashed to the point where it will be academic that he’s lost the fight.

Believe me, Pacquiao isn’t going to be able to plod around on cramped up legs and beat a wily veteran like Marquez. That’s not going to happen. The thing with cramps is that once they start during a fight they pretty much continue to cramp all throughout the fight. It isn’t like it’s a muscle spasm or something that will come and go. If Pacquiao gets the cramps, hes going to be stuck hobbling around the ring with stiff legs, eating punch after punch from Marquez.

Ariza is going to have to try and figure it out what to do with the Filipino by December 8th, because if Pacquiao can’t jump like a frog like he used to in the past, he’s going to get a boxing lesson by Marquez.
