Image: Bradley: Pacquiao will lose to Marquez in NovemberBy Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley is probably well aware right now that his chances of getting a second fight against Manny Pacquiao in November are pretty much zero at this point.

Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, has already spoken and he’s looking at putting Pacquiao in with 39-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez for a 4th fight between the two fighters in November.

Bradley unfortunately may then lose out on a rematch against Pacquiao period, because he sees Pacquiao losing to Marquez, and so do a lot of other people, this writer included.

Bradley told mydesert.com “I think [Marquez] will beat him [Pacquiao]. But I was the first one in seven years to beat him.”

True, Bradley was the first one in second years to give Pacquiao a loss on his resume. But if you look at Pacquiao’s last two fights against Marquez, you’d have to say that Pacquiao was beaten well before Bradley got to him, because I think Pacquiao fought well enough to lose all three bouts. I can’t one fight where I felt he deserved to win, because he was out-boxed in all three fights. The only thing he did was load up on left hands and then get countered left and right on the way in and the way out by Marquez.

It will be sad for Bradley if Pacquiao loses to Marquez, because that probably will end Pacquiao’s career. I can’t see him continuing on after another loss unless he does what he did after the Bradley fight by suggesting that he felt that he should have won the fight.

I suppose Pacquiao can go on saying that for the next three years as gets one loss after another. With all of his loyal fans slapping him on the back and not acknowledging that he lost, he could possibly drag his career along for another three years from fight to fight, looking worse each time out.
