Bute is well aware that Froch’s fans will be screaming like mad tonight, but he intends on shutting them up almost immediately by battering Froch senseless.

Bute said to the dailystar.co.uk “I know what to expect from them and I am ready for it, but I can promise that I will silence them when I beat their hero.”

Smart very smart of Bute. He’s got it right. To shut Froch’s fans up, you’ve got to pounce on him immediately like a big cat and start walloping him so that the fans never get started. Oh, I know Froch’s fans will be singing their football songs repeatedly before the fight kicks off, but once the fight starts and Bute starts to dominate Froch, the Brits will likely clam up and just stare wordlessly at the spectacle.

I honestly don’t know why Froch chose to fight Bute, because I can’t think of a worse match-up for him other than maybe taking on Andre Dirrell or his brother Anthony Dirrell. Bute is all wrong for Froch, and I think this fight is going to go badly for Froch the moment it starts.

There are certain tools of the trade that one needs to have before taking on a talent like Bute, and sadly I don’t see Froch as possessing those tools. I’m talking about hand and foot speed, defensive skills and prior experience in facing a huge body puncher like Bute. Froch is overwhelmed in this fight and pretty much going into it with just heart, chin and the backing of 9000 screaming Brits. It won’t be enough for Froch, and I see this fight turning into a massacre very quickly.
