I won’t go as far as to say that he is a fighter on the decline as I don’t think he is. There are just too many distractions outside of boxing that have hampered his training camps which in turn hampers his performance in the ring.

The duty as a congressman has taken his mind away from the sport. He is not the fighter today that he was when he beat Antonio Margarito or Ricky Hatton. That showed against Juan Manuel Marquez. Somehow Pacquiao managed to win. I gave Pacquiao 3 rounds in the whole fight. I thought Marquez had his number on the night. However I do believe with no distractions, he can return to form but will it be in time for his next bout?

Timothy Bradley is unbeaten. He is a decent fighter. He hasn’t, however, got the experience that Pacquiao has had or he hasn’t truly fought a great fighter. Many say he ducked an average Amir Khan. However he will be up for this fight. He won’t want to lose his unbeaten title. The incentive for Bradley to win is huge. He will be catapulted to a new level of fame and stardom and suddenly he becomes a very a very marketable fighter.

He has quick hands. He always looks in terrific shape and hopefully he will leave everything in the ring come fight night. Do I expect him to win? Of course not. Has he got a chance? Of course. This could be the perfect time to fight Manny. He could be the lucky one who gets it right on the night and beats Pacquiao. There is a re-match clause in the fight contract, so if he does win it could be another huge pay day for him.

I expect Pacquiao to win. But I don’t expect it to be easy nor do I expect Pacquiao to destroy Bradley. I expect a tough night. Bradley has a genuine chance. I believe it is a fight that could force Manny to consider his future, win or lose. Follow me on twitter @dallan09
