Bute is going to put on an uppercut and body clinic on Froch and likely knock him out in front of his own British fans. Froch’s fighting style is perfect for Bute to capitalize on to score an easy knockout. Bute thrives on slow guys that come at him in straight lines the way that Froch does, and he does really well in timing them to throw his uppercuts and vicious body shots to score knockouts. Froch only has one way of fighting and it’s not like he can learn how to move laterally or come up with blazing hand speed like Andre Ward and the Dirrell brothers have going for him. Froch HAS to fight the way he does, and that’s a pity. He needs other tools to contend with a fighter like Bute, but he doesn’t have them unfortunately.

Bute is the one with the skills in this fight and he’s going to really take advantage of all the flaws that Froch brings into this game.

I’m still surprised that Froch’s promoter Eddie Hearn allowed Froch to take the Bute fight, because it I was the one calling the shots, I’d veto that decision and Froch to stick to guys he can beat like Arthur Abraham and the Glen Johnson types. Those are guys up Froch’s alley, but not Bute, Dirrell brothers or Ward. Those are different types of fighters that thrive on Froch’s slow hand speed and wide open defense.

Froch is going to get hit with a lot of uppercuts in this fight and I can’t see him surviving for long with Bute tagging him with perfectly timed uppercuts. Froch will get hit with one especially hard uppercut and he’ll go down face first and get counted out.
