Image: Chisora turns down huge £70,000 for advertisement on the bottom of shoes for Vitali boutBy Scott Gilfoid: According to the telegraph.co.uk, Dereck Chisora turned an incredible tasty £70,000 offer for advertisement on the bottom of his shoes for his fight this Saturday night against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in Munich, Germany. Is that dumb or what? What is this man thinking?

All the advertiser wanted to do is have some good honest advertizing so when Chisora is knocked out this Saturday night, their adverts can be clearly seen on the bottoms of his shoes. Where’s the harm in that? I think Chisora will be kicking himself for turning that bread because I think there’s going to be some lean times up ahead after Vitali makes quick work of him.

Chisora told the Telegraph “No-one was going to put their logo on the soles of my boots. Doing that would have been like a white flag of surrender even before I stepped into the ring…I was offered £70,000 to do it, but I’ve come here to put it in his face, and take home the world heavyweight title.”

I think Chisora is making a big mistake here. This is probably going to be his 15 minutes of fame, because I don’t see Chisora ever getting another shot at a heavyweight title for the rest of his career. Why turn down that kind of £70,000 moolah? Sheesh! Can you imagine what Chisora would have been able to do with that money? He could have bought better car for one. That one I saw him in looked a sight with the three wheels. What an ugly car.

It doesn’t matter much about what the message be because he’s getting knocked out anyway, so he might as well make a killing in the process. Chisora isn’t going to be putting anything in Vitali’s face on Saturday night. I’d be surprised if Chisora can land even 20 clean punches in this fight because it’s going to be a massacre of epic proportions, let me tell you.
