Image: Price: Chisora will beat Fury if he's 100%By Sean McDaniel: Heavyweight prospect David Price is picking British/Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) to win Saturday’s fight against 6’9″ Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, England.

Price, who could end up facing the winner or the loser of this fight next, said this to Sky Sports Ringside: “If Chisora turns up at 100%, he beats Tyson Fury.” The question here is whether Chisora is at 100 percent for this fight. At the weigh-in on Friday night, Chisora weighed in at 261 lbs, a career high for him.

While some of Chisora’s fans have been quick to say that the extra weight that Chisora has put on is all muscle, it’s hard to agree with that when you see the extra weight hanging around his midsection and on around his chest. You can see excess fat that wasn’t there for his fight against Sam Sexton last September. But it may not matter, because Fury is badly flawed and lacks power.

If Chisora can work his way inside and land hard punishing head shots, he could wind up chopping Fury down in six or seven rounds. Fury hasn’t had a tough since his bout against John McDermott in June of last year. Fury looked like he was on the verge of being beaten in that fight and was only able to turn things around when McDermott gassed out in the 9th.

If the excess tonnage on Chisora’s frame doesn’t impede his progress, he could make things mighty difficult for Fury. It’s going to take a lot of pressure and a high work rate to tire Fury out, and Chisora didn’t help himself by coming into this fight with the extra weight on his small 6’1″ frame.
