Seagal, one of the biggest action stars in the 90s, said this in an interview at Abs-Cbn- News: “He [Pacquiao] will [beat] Mosley by the 3rd round. I’ll always bet for him. He’s my brother.”

An overwhelming amount of people are picking Pacquiao to win this fight, much more than some of his recent mismatch fights against struggling fighters. It could be that fans have bothered to take a lot at Mosley’s last two fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Sergio Mora and have come to the conclusion that Mosley is utterly shot and has no chance in that fight. Obviously, Pacquiao, his promoter Bob Arum and trainer Freddie Roach, are hoping fans do bother to pay out the $54.99 to watch this fight on pay-per-view despite the one-sided odds.

The undercard has a number of decent match-ups with Wilfredo Vazquez Jr vs. Jorge Arce, Humberto Soto vs. Urbano Antillon, Kelly Pavlik vs. TBA, Rock Allen vs. TBA, Jose Benavidez vs. TBA, and Mike Lee vs. TBA. However, it’s highly unlikely that boxing fans will care much about any of the undercard fights because there isn’t one that really grabs you on this card. It’s basically going to come down to whether you want to pay the $55 to watch Pacquiao destroy an old Mosley. If that floats your boat, you’ll dump the cash on the fight. If apparent mismatches aren’t your bag, then you might want to save your money and wait to see someone a little more interesting when Pacquiao is finally matched against someone that has a good chance of beating him.
