Image: If Mayweather vs. Pacquiao doesn't happen, who else can they fight that will draw big PPV numbers?By Ronald Peter: Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao are undoubtedly the pound for pound kings of all of boxing and PPV buys. Now that Manny Pacquiao has defeated and demolished the disgraced Antonio Margarito, the only fight casual sporting and hardcore boxing fans around the world want to see is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, some people have estimated if the fight was made it could do 3 million buy rates with 100 million+ split between both fighters. People seem to over look the fact that both fighters can make big money even if they don’t fight because they both have very strong fan bases.

Floyd Mayweather and Paul Williams both share the same manager (Al Haymon), who’s never been to keen on matching up any of his clients, but a Mayweather vs. Martinez fight would be a great fight depending on the weight class chosen. Another fight I would definitely pay to watch would be Mayweather vs. Cotto, before Miguel was derailed by Margarito and Pacquiao he was on a crash course with the undefeated superstar Floyd Mayweather, in Cotto’s last fight he beat Yuri Foreman by TKO and with the proper time off and having Emanuel Steward as his trainer looks to be getting back to top form. Mayweather is at his best at 147 LBS, but after he beat Sugar Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito, that leaves WBC champion Andre Berto as the only untouched welterweight , unfortunately he also shares the same manager as Floyd. Some another names that are out there are Kermit Cintron, Kostya Tszyu, Alfredo Angulo, Cornelius Bundrage, Saul Alvarez, or he could just wait and fight the winners of Maidana vs. Khan or Alexander vs. Bradley.

Now on to Manny Pacquiao, with the lack of big names left between 140-154 LB divisions who should he fight ? Bob Arum has stated he wants Manny to fight 2 or 3 more times, some names he’s mentioned are Sugar Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Paul Williams or a rematch with Miguel Cotto. A 3rd fight with Juan Manuel Marquez would be interesting, seeing how a lot of fans believe Marquez got the best of Pacquiao in the 24 rounds they’ve fought. Manny is really a 140 LB fighter if he were to step up and fight the 6’1 Paul Williams it would surely do big PPV numbers. Other possible opponents are Andre Berto, Maidana if he beats Khan, the winner of Alexander vs. Bradley, Kostya Tszyu or Sergio Martinez.
