Khan: I’m going to pick the right fights and win more world titles
By William Mackay: Once again claiming he’s going to come back stronger from his disastrous 4th round knockout loss to WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia, Amir Khan is planning on carefully picking his opponents while slowly building up to challenge for future titles in the sport. Khan says he’s not washed up, but we’ll have to see about that because he’s lost his last two fights and can no longer afford to lose anymore.
Haye: Amir Khan is not finished; he’ll be back stronger
(Photo: Sumio Yamada) By Sean McDaniel: David Haye doesn’t see his close friend Amir Khan as being a washed up fighter after Khan’s latest defeat, a 4th round TKO to WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia last Saturday night. While many boxing fans and writers see Khan as being pretty much finished as a world class fighter, Haye thinks Khan will come back and rebuild his career like he did after being destroyed by Breidis Prescott in 2008.
Fixing Amir Khan
By John F. McKenna (McJack): Former IBF and WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (26-3, 18 KO’s) is at a crossroads in his career after suffering back to back losses. When Khan lost to the now disgraced Lamont Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KO’s) last December the loss could be explained away. The loss to Peterson was a highly controversial decision and it was later revealed that Lamont had taken a synthetic testosterone prior to the fight.
Khan to fight next in the UK, wants Garcia rematch
By Sean McDaniel: Former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan is going to be putting off his move to the welterweight division in order to concentrate at succeeding at 140 and avenging his defeat to WBC light welterweight Danny Garcia. For his next bout, Khan will be fighting in the UK against an opponent still to be determined. It won’t be Garcia, but we could see Khan in with someone like Kell Brook possibly.

Schaefer: Khan will not become an undercard fighter; Garcia rematch being looked at
By William Mackay: Amir Khan has now been beaten in his last two fights after suffering his latest defeat, a 4th round TKO loss to WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia last Saturday night. For most fighters that would be enough for them to be demoted to fighting on undercards, but not Khan. Golden Boy Promotions Richard Schaefer plans on keeping Khan as a head of the bill fighter regardless of his lack of success.

Plaudits for Danny Garcia
By Gari Jones: Amir Khan W26, O18, L3, D0 suffered a second straight defeat on Saturday the 15th July at the hand of Danny Garcia W25, KO15, L0, D0 . Though Lamont Peterson tested positive for a banned substance and I do believe Khan had a case against some unfair scoring from the referee, Garcia won this fight in true style and here’s WHY.
