With the emergence of new stars and the hard work and dedication of veterans boxing is re establishing itself as the preeminent sport of the land. The most visible protagonist is Floyd Money Mayweather JR.

This undefeated boxer is the standard bearer in the sport. His dominance is mind blowing and envied by athletes of all different sports. His main rival Manny Pacquiao while recently being knock the bleep out has accomplished what no other fighter in the history of the sport has ever dreamed or fathomed to walk through eight weight classes and dominate.

Juan Manuel Marquez the ultimate rival of Pacquiao who never gave up his quest for a victory over his old foe even at the age of 39. The Klitschkos just their names alone instills fear in the legs of any heavyweight in the game right now.

Bernard Hopkins whose storied career just seems to never end, Miguel Cotto a warrior by tradition who doesn’t flinch no matter the competition. Sergio Martinez the Marvelous master technician. With the three main promotional houses battling for supremacy the match making has jumped by leaps and bounds the fighters are putting it all on the line to take those titles and up their leverage and bargaining power in the next fight.
