I do agree with this. I am not sure if he will win but he has definitely got a chance and I do think that there was something wrong with Bute on the night. You always no when there is something wrong with a fighter because they act all out of character, for example Bute was daring Froch to hit him when he was backed on to the ropes. We know Bute is a kind respectful man and he does not do these Roy Jones escape taunting in the ring.
Even though the result against Bute was good on paper, Froch looked very slow in that fight, very disorganized and he also looked like old age had caught up with him as his legs crossed on many occasions. He also appeared to have had lost his balance and coordination because of all this.
Lets now look at Mack in more detail. All of his loses have come to durable and physical guys. He also hasn’t fought at 168lbs since 2007. He will be weight drained and he probably won’t win the fight. But he has got good boxing skills so there is just a little chance he could pull off the victory. In order for him to win he has to strengthen his jab. This is because Froch would walk through his current jab. He also needs to stay out of range and catch Froch with right hands when he is coming in and then pivot off to the right slightly. He also needs to catch Froch with jabs when he is coming in. He basically needs to stay on the outside. He needs to move out of the way if Froch lunges in like in the Bute fight. I say this because there reaches and height are around the same and Mack will not be able to stand in front of Froch. We all know what happens when Mack does stand and gets hit. Its sleepy time.
Prediction: Froch is the clear favourite but a weight drained Mack just might do it, like I said Peterson just might do it against Amir Khan. I know he was taking testosterone pellets but this was because of his Testosterone Deficiency. You knew before this that Peterson had some kind of health problems because in other fights his body moved in a different way. He even had thinner hair and thinner eyebrows in other fights too. If Mack does win though it will be a clear victory and not by a close margin. Although I can’t see this really happening. Mack’s chin will be worse as he will be weight drained and that makes you lose fluid that protects the brain. This will cause him to feel each punch. Mack will probably lose because he can’t handle rough pressure fighter guys.
