By Steven Ocallaghan: Yesterday, I wrote an article on Amir Khan and if he needed a change of trainer. It seams that he has been thinking about this for a while. Trainer Freddie Roach is a great offensive coach but I always felt he put more time into Manny Pacquiao than anybody else.

Most sportsmen in general believe the best form of defence is attack which is quite true but even the greatest get hit. Ali, Robinson, Leonard, all been on the deck but they could clear their head and fight smart. Amir Khan just wants a war and forgets the basics. Manny Steward knows the basics, he knows more than the basics. Manny Steward is a first class coach with no favoritism. He will give him 100% of his knowledge which he doesn’t get off Roach and wouldn’t get off Team Mayweather.

All top coaches, but Emanuel Steward for me tops the bill. Khan needs Steward, Steward does not need Khan, but it could be the perfect match. Your thoughts please.

Let the fights begin

There is a lot of talk regarding promoters saving their fighters records by not making the big fights happen. There are great fights at almost everyweight, most notable Heavyweight.

There could be a number of fights out there with David Haye, David Price, Tyson Fury, Seth Mitchell, Deontay Wilder, Eddie Chambers, and the new Cruisers who have moved up. Thats just at heavyweight.

There are a lot of great matchups at all weights and I think a lot of promoters could take a look at some of the British and European guys making a lot of good fights.

There are a lot of really good fighters and fights out there , so in my opnion boxing will still be up there for action and excitement.
