Do the Klitschko Brothers know this is boxing?

By Steven Wain: There have been many articles all over the web about whether or not the Klitschko brothers (Wladimir and Vitali) should fight each other to find out once and for all who really is the best Heavyweight at this time. Many of you may be getting sick of hearing this but they are ruining boxing, there’s no doubt in my mind or in any boxing fans mind.
The Klitschko brothers are stopping the heavyweight division from progressing. Just look at how slow and boring it’s got since they both became champions, and think how more boring it will be if they finally capture the WBA belt. I cant bare to think about it. There would be big money out there for the brothers to fight each other 100 times more then what they are getting now.
Maybe Mrs. Klitschko should of done her research on boxing before allowing her “treasures” to get into it, or at least make sure they fought in different weights classes if she didn’t want them to fight each other! Their both grown men now, so maybe the apron string should be cut and let them sort their own future out without mummy. If they want to fight each other, step aside Mamma Klitschko and LET THEM.
If the Klitschko’s still don’t want to fight each other, then they should be made to or be kicked out the sport.
Klitschko’s show your sport some dedication and fight otherwise vacate your titles and get lost, cause no one wants a pair of sissies. Go play chess or something cause you certainly are not preferred for the sacrifices of boxing. It’s a businesses, not a family event!

i hope the fight doesn’t happen but it would be a 50-50 fight. betting even. fantasy but sucks they are brothers. they are big and fight big. they both would destroy haye.wlad matches up better because of the more athletic ability, better jab, and that devastating right would end it inless then 4. just like vitali matched up better with arreola who had a great chin and could only brawl. vitali knew he could walk through him and easily outbox him. even though they both lose easily arreola would have had a better chance with wladamir and haye has a better chance with vitali but both would still get destroyed. the k-brothers reign ends when they grab the wba title then they might retire because nobody but themselves can beat them at this time. vitali is fully healed and wladamir is much more patient and smarter and has matured so much in the last 6 years with steward. thats why he hasn’t lost and won’t.
vitali destroyed arreola just like wladimir destroyed the “the white tyson”. wladimir did lose over 6 years ago and is undefeated with emanuel steward as his trainer. he has matured dramatically and looks unstoppable. vitali took 4 years off and is a young 38. the layoff healed his body and he looks unstopable. they both fight to ther advantages and steward has made wladamir a smart or maybe a even smarter fighter then his brother. i’m a american and i love watching the k brothers destroy everybody. they are in there own league.haye is a coward and a joke and every heavyweight will get destroyed by these brothers. they have matured into great fighters. it is disturbing and sick to want to see that fight but i do get excited by the potential.Vitali-38-2 37ko’s is 6’7 half,80 inch reach & has the better chin, the stronger brother, & more physical,plus the older brother mental advantage,more experienced. wladamir-53-3 47ko’s is 6’6 half,81 inch reach-unbeaten with emanuel steward,more talented,athletic,skilled,better footwork,younger, and has the harder punch. if they went full out this would be a war because both brothers know there stenghs and weakneses. wladamir has the better jab also but vitali would walk through it and wlad better land that devastating right or vitali could pound him. fantasy war but very disturbing to watch. they would destroy each other.

I still dont get where everyone thinks that Vitali Klitschko has a weak chin. It was a cut over Vitali’s eye that stopped the fight against Lennox Lewis, not a weak chin. Vitali WAS winning that fight & as a matter of fact won every round according to all 3 judges score cards. So according to Rob, I guess every fighter that ever got a cut on his face in the ring has a weak chin right? Absurd.
Why didn’t you complain about Lennox Lewis avoiding John Ruiz(wba world champion) and Chis Byrd(ibf world champion)
What about Lennox Lewis ducking (WBO world champion Wladimir in 2002) This was a belt that Lennox Lewis never ever won!
The k brothers have been great for boxing. Boxing is doing very well around the world just not in the USA mainly because American fighters are struggling. The K brothers are two of the best of all time and would easily beat Ali who had no power and took 15 rounds to tko and uncoordinated fighter named wepner . Frazier was really bad, knocked out by a slow Forman in first round but hey he took Ali the distance twice and beat him once. Guess that tells us how much power Ali had. What about Mike Tyson he was just terrible he came along when there was no talent in the heavy weight division. He fought the bum of the week . When he finally fought someone not sacred of him he got ktfo. Quite whining admit it the best heavy weights of all time are not from the distant American past. They are the guys fighting today.

i have just picked a few comments to talk about but i thank everyone who has/is going to comment.
The fact remains that they are the world champions, yes, even though they are boring and weak chins. If they are not perceived to be the best by some, let someone else try and win against them. I’m not even a huge Klitchko fan but they are still the champs.
Brother vs. brother is what is possible in the bizarre world of Mr.Wain but not in the cards for more honorable types like the Klitschkos. So forget a brother against brother war with Wladimir and Vitali blood is thicker than boxing.
I like how all those who are defending the klitchkos are obviously East European i.e Eagor, brettchko, gorgi. You lot are so ignorant to the real argument, you may aswell not even come on here. Klitchkos make it imposible for anybody to fight them, wrangling one sided deals as if they were the greatest of all time. and as one other comment put it, they are in an era that is conveniant for them. Sure they are good, but are they in the same calibre as some of the true heavyweight champions over the years? нет
The Faster someone puts any of the K on the canvas the faster the heavyweight division will recover! If Chris Can beat Vitali then all eyes will return to the heavy weight division!
And if Arreola beats Vitali you can bet that everyone and there mother would want to see Wladamir try to avenge his brothers loss!
Plus an american would have the belt!
You would have all the American, Mexican, and Europeons wathing for sure if Areola can get past Vitali and fight Wladamir next!
Again a pointless, badly put together article.The Klitschkos cannot, and are not responsible, for the perceived state of the HW division. That would be impossible, and gives them a responsibility they could never attain. The fight game is simple in its original conception. One fights whoever gets in the ring with you, simple. All other weights have restrictions by virtue of the weights. But not the HW division. Great, so who ever thinks they have a chance get in there and do your thing. There is some wrangling with the various belts but that eventually gets sorted. Any criticism of the Klitschkos is always about their style. Well that can easily be sorted. Somebody step up and take them out. Stop criticising the Klitschkos for beating everybody else. Arreola, Chambers, And even Haye, when he eventually gets in the ring can do their best, but if they fail, who are you going to blame? oh yes, the Klitschkos. Give it a rest.

I like the fact that this “double impact” is cleaning out the weak in the division. Maybe David Haye will be able to take one of them out. He has the movement and power to do it. The klitschkos are slow and lumbering. Samuel Peter knocked Vlad down 3 times…Lamon Brewster and Ross Purity stopped the big man so It’s not impossible. It’s just people in the heavyweight division are a bunch of junk food eating, couch loafers ready for the dustbin. Uncommitted to their crafts and privy to the slaughter fest that awaits them when the double threat steps into the ring.

I’m no fan of the Klitschko’s, but they are effective. They are picking their fights carefully, Wladimir did not want to risk his chin against Haye. Sooner or later they will have to fight one of the better guys out there, if they can find one. Haye might be dangerous but he is chinny too so I don’t see him as the heavyweight saviour he wants to be. The Klitschko’s aren’t getting any younger so I don’t see them running the division for too much longer, it just may not get much better with them gone.
As for them fighting each other, it’s a waste of time talking about it!
The Klitschko borthers are boring and overrated. I have been a boxing fan my whole life. Now I can’t even watch a full boxing match because it has lost its excitement, suspense and thrill. UFC with its lesser skilled and talented athletes are giving fans more thrills and entertainment. Boxing needs to be remarketed and revamped. It’s not purely the athletes fault but together everone is losing out.

Whatever happened to heavyweight fighters actually being trained and actually having some skill. Now-a-days it doesn’t matter, if there’s someone that has enough power to win against 19 out of 20 opponent with 15 KOs it doesnt matter how crappy the opponents are or the fact that their one loss was ridiculous one sided and they got taught a lesson by a nobody.

The problem with the heavyweight division is that no one is in their league. Recent opponents have looked absolutely pathetic against them , either because they are outboxed or simply not in great condition.
Everyone seems to want to know who is the better of the two . I couldn’t care less.
