By Chris Williams: Whether unbeaten Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) gets the fight against WBO 147lb title holder Manny Pacquiao will be decided by Top Rank, says Horns’ promoter Dean Lonergan.

Pacquiao and his adviser Michael Koncz seem to have other ideas of who they want to fight and where they want the fight to take place. Koncz and Pacquiao are talking about wanting to fight in the United Arab Emirates.

Horn isn’t sure if Pacquiao is the one sending Tweets from his account

Image: Horn isn’t sure if Pacquiao is the one sending Tweets from his account

By Chris Williams: Unbeaten welterweight contender Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) doesn’t understand why WBO 147lb champion Manny Pacquiao has suddenly started sending Tweets from his Twitter account asking boxing fans to pick his next opponent from a list of four fighters. Horn thinks that it might not be Pacquiao who is in charge of his Twitter account, even though it’s a verified account.

For Pacquiao not to be the one sending out the tweets from a verified account, it would mean that it had to be hacked, because it’s a legitimate account. Of course, if Pacquiao wasn’t the one sending the Tweets, he would have spoken up by now to reassure the 28-year-old Horn that it’s not him sending the Tweets.

Horn’s promoters still believe Pacquiao fight will happen

Image: Horn’s promoters still believe Pacquiao fight will happen

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao’s Tweet last weekend asking his many followers to pick out his next opponent for a fight in the United Arab Emirates doesn’t appear to be discouraging the promoters for Australian welterweight contender Jeff Horn, as they still believe that he’ll be the next opponent for the Filipino fighter.

They also believe that the fight will be taking place in Horn’s hometown at the Suncorps Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao wants the boxing fans to pick his next opponent for his upcoming fight in April. Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum has been working on matching him against a fighter that he co-promotes in Jeff Horn, but that fight is now in limbo right now.

Pacquiao surprised a lot of people with him posing on his Twitter account to his many fans asking them to pick between four fighters. The fighters that Pacquiao wants the boxing fans to pick from are from these four:

Pacquiao vs. Horn in UAE?

Image: Pacquiao vs. Horn in UAE?

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao and his adviser Michael Koncz are saying that his next fight in April will be in the United Arab Emirates when they face unbeaten #2 IBF, #2 WBO Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs). However, this news is now what Horn’s promoters at Duco Events are going by. They’ve been working with Pacquiao’s promoters at Top Rank, and they still believe the Pacquiao-Horn fight is going to be taking place in April at the Suncorps Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

The question is why isn’t Pacquiao and Koncz on the same page as Top Rank for this fight? Unless Pacquiao wants to put his foot down and insist on the Horn fight taking place in the UAE, he’ll likely be facing Horn in Brisbane, Australia.

Jeff Horn confident he’ll beat Pacquiao

Image: Jeff Horn confident he’ll beat Pacquiao

By Chris Williams: Top Rank promoter Bob Arum might want to think hard before he matches his No.1 money fighter Manny Pacquiao against the unbeaten Jeff Horn on April 23, because there’s a very good chance that he’ll lose that fight to the 28-year-old Australian. Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) is very confident that he’s got the power, skills and boxing ability to give the Filipino star loss No.7.

Pacquiao was matched well by Arum in his last two fights against Tim Bradley and Jessie Vargas. Neither of those two fighters had any punching power to speak of, so it was an easy win for Pacquiao.

Jeff Horn could beat Pacquiao says Funeka

Image: Jeff Horn could beat Pacquiao says Funeka

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao could lose his next fight against unbeaten Jeff Horn, according to Ali Funeka. He was beaten by the 28-year-old Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) by a 6th round knockout last December. Horn was able to use an in and out attacking style to get the better of the 38-year-old Funkeka in dropping him and scoring a 6th round TKO.

Now it’s Pacquiao’s turn. This might be a mistake for Pacquiao to agree to fight Horn. The way Pacquiao looked in his last fight against Jessie Vargas last November, he could have problems with Horn, and he might lose. A win for Horn would make him the new WBO welterweight champion.

Pacquiao plans on fighting 2 times in 2017

Image: Pacquiao plans on fighting 2 times in 2017

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao says he plans on only fighting two times in 2017, not the four times that his promoter Bob Arum was talking about. The 38-year-old Pacquiao says it’s hard enough for him to fight even twice per year, and he does not want to try for four times.

Pacquiao doesn’t plan on retiring in 2017 as well. He wants to fight a couple of times in 2018, and then make a decision on his boxing career. Pacquiao’s next fight is supposed to be on April 23 against #2 WBO Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) in Brisbane, Australia. Pacquiao says the fight still isn’t finalized as of yet, and he’s not heard of the guy before.

Jeff Horn thinks he can KO Pacquiao

Image: Jeff Horn thinks he can KO Pacquiao

By Chris Williams: Top Rank promoter Bob Arum might have a live one in unbeaten Jeff Born (16-0-1, 11 KOs) as the next opponent for his top money fighter Manny Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) for their math-up on April 23. I’m sure Arum doesn’t want Pacquiao to lose so soon after him making his comeback against Jessie Vargas, but things happen.

Horn, 28, seems to think he’s got the ability to beat the 38-year-old Pacquiao. That would obviously be terrible news for Arum if Pacquiao loses to Horn in a small money fight before he can face unbeaten Terence Crawford or Vasyl Lomachenko, two fighters that he’s talked about wanting to match against him.

Pacquiao says he doesn’t know who Jeff Horn is

Image: Pacquiao says he doesn’t know who Jeff Horn is

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao’s career is arguably ending slowly in a sad way for the former eight-division world champion with him facing one non-star after another in pay-per-view fights that the boxing fans have little interest in purchasing in high numbers. Pacquiao is expected to fight someone named Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) next on April 23 at the Suncorps Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

Horn is someone that Pacquiao’s 85-year-old promoter Bob Arum wants him to fight next. Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 KOs) says he doesn’t know who Horn is, and he’s never seen his face. Despite all that, Pacquiao still wants to fight in Australia.
