Khan wants Kell Brook fight over World title shot at 147
By Scott Gilfoid: Amir Khan put a smile on the face of his promoter Eddie Hearn by saying that he prefers to face fellow Matchroom Boxing stable fighter Kell Brook rather than fighting for a world title at welterweight.
Hearn: Wilder isn’t worth a 60/40 purse split for Joshua fight
By Scott Gilfoid: Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn admitted today that the reason he’s not offering WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder a percentage deal for a fight against AJ is because he feels he doesn’t rate it. All he rates is a flat fee offer, according to Hearn. Wilder is not going to accept Hearn’s 88/12 purse split for the fight with Joshua. That’s not going to happen.

By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury asked for a 50-50 purse split for a fight against IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, according to Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn. Anthony Joshua and the $100 million dollar fight

Deontay Wilder’s co-manager Finkel hints at 60-40 split counter offer for Joshua
By Scott Gilfoid: Eddie Hearn’s flat fee $12.5 million offer made to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is not what he and his co-manager Shelly Finkel are looking to get for a big unification fight against IBF/WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. They want a MUCH better deal than that, which could come out to a split of nearly 90/10 in favor of Joshua if Team Deontay had agreed to it. Hearn is going to need to sweeten the pot considerably if he’s going to get Wilder to agree to a flat fee.
Hearn gives Wilder $12.5M take-it-or-leave-it offer for Joshua fight
By Scott Gilfoid: It doesn’t look like the fans are going to be seeing a unification fight between WBC heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and WBC champion Deontay Wilder in 2018. Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has given Wilder’s manager Al Haymon a $12.5 million take it or leave it offer for a fight, and if they don’t accept it, then they’ll move on to face AJ’s WBA mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin in their next fight, and then after that Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller.
Deontay Wilder offered 20% purse for Joshua fight
By Scott Gilfoid: Deontay Wilder has reportedly been offered a flat fee of 20 percent for his unification fight against IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, according to Boxingtalk. If this offer is true, then it’s a big hint that Joshua and his management don’t fancy the fight with Deontay. Wilder not even getting a percentage of the gate and pay-per-view sounds bad. I can’t see Wilder and his management ever agreeing to that kind of a one-sided offer from Joshua.
