Will Haye Make Excuses When He Loses to Wladimir?

By Chris Williams: In looking at how David Haye has come across as supremely confident about being able to knockout a “boring” IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, I’m wondering what Haye’s behavior will be like if he’s beaten by Wladimir? I don’t know why but I get the sense that Haye is the type that will start offering up immediate excuses after the loss rather than kissing Klitschko’s backside like he should be doing after a loss.

Haye Wants to Fight Like Tyson?

By Scott Gilfoid: I almost died laughing when I heard David Haye’s interview with Setanta Sports today where Haye said that he’s planning on trying to fight like Mike Tyson in an effort to beat Wladimir Klitschko in the scheduled WBO/IBF heavyweight title bout on June 20th.

Klitschko vs. Haye: Should David Move Back Down to Cruiserweight If He Gets Knocked Out?

haye454349By Chris Williams: I hate to say this, but I think David Haye is going to get knocked out in the first three rounds against Wladimir Klitschko on June 20th. Haye, 28, is a good fighter at cruiserweight, one of the best in a mediocre division. But as far as being a good heavyweight, I think he doesn’t have the size or the chin for the better heavyweights. Haye has done well for himself by talking his way into a bout with Klitschko, the International Boxing Federation/World Boxing Organization heavyweight champion.

Is Haye the Next Fighter That Gets Exposed?

By Scott Gilfoid: Coming off a bad week for British boxing with the 2nd round KO loss by Ricky Hatton, next up we have another seemingly confident Brit in David Haye, who with next to no experience against top level heavyweight competition, has talked his way into a fight with none other than IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko for a bout set to take place on June 20th at the Veltins Arena, in Germany. Haye has done an admirable job of first pressuring Klitschko through the media to get the fight with the Ukrainian and then selling out the large 63,000 seat German soccer stadium by promoting the fight.

Haye vs. Klitschko: Is David Responsible for The Huge Interest in This Fight?

wladimir43438By William Mackay: It’s sad to say that it took only one month of former cruiserweight champion David Haye opening his mouth night and day to pretty much singlehandedly create the biggest fight of International Boxing Federation/World Boxing Federation heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko’s entire career. The interest in this fight sure isn’t coming from Klitschko’s side, as like in all prefight promotions of his fights, Wladimir has stayed ever stoic, almost like a robot next to the much more animated Haye.

How Would Wladimir Have Handled Ali’s Trash Talking?

wladimir564471By William Mackay: Seeing how easily Wladimir Klitschko has been reduced to almost jelly by David Haye in the past couple of weeks during press conferences, I wonder how Wladimir would have handled it if he were facing Muhammed Ali rather Haye on June 20th, in Germany. Remembering how Ali was able to make fun of heavyweights like Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and George Foreman, I suspect that Wladimir would been possibly reduced to tears by the quick witted Ali and in no condition to fight him by the time they did eventually enter the ring.

bradley43445By Jim Dower: Former World Boxing Council light welterweight champion Junior Witter (37-2-2, 22 KOs) is picking Kendall Holt to defeat Timothy Bradley (23-0, 11 KOs) in the WBC/WBO unification bout this Saturday night at the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada. Witter, 35, knows Bradley first hand, having lost his WBC title to him by a close 12-round split decision a year ago in May 2008.

Is Haye Better Off Not Fighting Wladimir?

haye343445By Chris Williams: With today’s news about Wladimir Klitschko deciding to end negotiations with David Haye due to a variety of reasons, I think Haye might be better off now without the fight. The reason is simple: Haye hasn’t the experience, the size, or the chin to compete against a fighter as big, fast, skilled and as powerful as Wladimir, and by taking on a fighter with as much overall talent as Wladimir, I believe it would be way too much of a step up for Haye.

Haye vs. Klitschko Talks Still Ongoing

wladimir323421By Chris Williams: IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye are still locked in a stalemate, with both stuck on a few issues which are preventing the fight from reaching a deal, according to Sky Sports. The two sides are at the contract part of the negotiations and are undergoing some friction as they jockey back and forth. Adam Booth, Haye’s Manager/trainer, is working on “the core” part of the contract and once this, the most difficult part of the negotiations, there’s only some smaller items that need to be worked out and then the fight is good to go.
