By Mark Havey: Amir Khan thrived under the tutelage of trainer Freddie Roach. Before he joined Roach he had just been knocked out in 52 seconds to a unknown fighter. The world famous Wildcard gym was what he felt he needed. Roach turned the former Olympian into a multiple world champion and PPV star. But things turned sour after Amir Khan was brutally knocked out by the confident Danny Garcia.
That is the case in most gyms. There are times when in training when it’s better to lose in Sparring. You work on defense and don’t really throw punches. Other times you work on certain punches or combinations. Amir should have ignored the thoughts on how other see him and focused on what was best for him. looking good in the gym is great but how much does in matter if you look bad in a fight. And getting knocked out after you have talked a good fight, looks bad.

By Gibran Samad: All boxing fans know that 2012 was a great year for boxing with many action packed fights and many upset KO’s, one of them being Danny Garcia’s 4th round TKO win over Amir Khan. Amir had a good start for the first couple of rounds, catching Danny with a few blistering combinations and cutting him with the right hand. Amir was using his blazing speed and flurry of punches to get to Danny. He had his speed that night, but not his head movement. 
By Scott Gilfoid: Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions is looking at November or December for the Amir Khan vs. Danny Garcia rematch. Khan has a fight date coming up on April 20th against a still to be determined opponent, while Garcia is facing 35-year-old Zab Judah next month on February 9th. It’s expected that Garcia will easily destroy the past his best Judah, and Golden Boy will likely feed Khan another beatable fighter for his April date. 
By Scott Gilfoid: Amir Khan believes that his conqueror WBA/WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia doesn’t want to fight him for some reason, and says he’s going to push his promoters at Golden Boy Promotions to try and persuade Garcia to fight him later on this year so that Khan can try ad avenge his 4th round knockout loss.
By Scott Gilfoid: It’s so sad when fighters don’t realize when they’ve been knocked out and foolishly blame the referee when they get spanked. Amir Khan still doesn’t seem to realize how bad off he was when he got destroyed by WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia last July in a 4th round TKO. Khan was knocked down once in the 3rd round and twice more in the 4th before the referee mercifully saved Khan from taking even more punishment by stopping the fight. 
By William Mackay: WBA/WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (25-0, 16 KO’s) was a little bit in shock in facing Amir Khan last July in his 4th round TKO victory over him in Las Vegas, Nevada. Garcia said he wasn’t expecting the kind of hand speed that Khan possessed in that fight and that’s why he was getting hit so often by Khan in the first couple of rounds. It wasn’t until Garcia adjusted to Khan’s speed that he was finally able to start landing his own shots.

Khan wants to capture Garcia’s two titles, prove that his loss to him was a fluke thing, and then look for more titles at welterweight.
