By Dan Ambrose: 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins (52-5-2, 32 KO’s) is finally starting to show signs of aging after he was made to look average in the two rounds of his last fight against Chad Dawson (30-1, 17 KO’s). Hopkins will get a chance to prove that fight was just a blip on the radar screen when he faces the 29-year-old Dawson next month on April 28th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Dawson will have to keep it clean against Hopkins in their rematch
By Sean McDaniel: If Chad Dawson (30-1, 17 KO’s) wants to improve his chances for success in beating WBC light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (5-5-2, 32 KO’s) on April 28th, then Dawson needs to make sure he fights a clean fight without bumping, throwing blows and especially not picking Hopkins up and depositing him on the canvas. It’s not that Dawson ever throws low blows or bumps his opponents, but he needs to be careful in this fight because Hopkins is an older fighter and Dawson need to mess things up for himself by roughing Hopkins up.

By Dan Ambrose: 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins (52-5-2, 32 KO’s) has reportedly decided to take the silent approach to his rematch with Chad Dawson (30-1, 17 KO’s) on April 28th at the Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, U.S. Hopkins says he’s not going to trash talk for the rematch for some reason.
Cleverly says he’d still fight Hopkins even if he loses to Dawson
By Scott Gilfoid: Supposedly, WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly is waiting to find out who the winner of the April 28th fight between 47-year-old WBC light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins and challenger Chad Dawson before taking on the winner of that fight in the summer in Wales. However, now Cleverly is saying he’ll fight Hopkins regardless of the outcome of the Hopkins-Dawson fight. That’s great, eh? Pick the loser why don’t you.
Will Cleverly fight Dawson if he beats Hopkins?
By Scott Gilfoid: We know that WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly’s promoter is interested in matching him against 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins in the summer in Wales for a big arena fight. However, the odds are against that fight happening I hate to say. Hopkins will be battling the two-time WBC light heavyweight Chad Dawson on April 28th, and I wouldn’t bet on Hopkins winning that fight even if he uses his old punch and grab technique. That old trick won’t work for a skilled fighter like Dawson.
