By Scott Gilfoid: Following his 3rd round knockout win over Avni Yildirim (16-1, 10 KOs) on Saturday night in the World Boxing Super Series tournament, IBO super middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (26-1, 20 KOs) called out WBA 168 lb. champion George Groves, telling him that he’s coming for him and imploring him not to lose his fight next Saturday night against Jamie Cox in the tournament.

Has the Super Middleweight division gone stale?
By Gavin Howie: In years gone by the Super Middleweight division was certainly one of my favorites growing up. The likes of Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Steve Collins etc. And more recently Joe Calzaghe, Andre Ward, Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler to name just a few. Most of these guys faced each other and were involved in some memorable match ups.
Froch picks Groves as favorite to win WBSS
By Scott Gilfoid: Former 168 lb. champion Carl Froch has WBA super middleweight champion George Groves as the favorite in the World Boxing Super Series over the likes of Callum Smith, Chris Eubank Jr. and Erik Skoglund. The series is lacking is missing a lot of the other top 168 lb. fighters like the Dirrell brothers, James DeGale, Gilberto Ramirez, David Benavidez and Jose Uzcategui. Not having those guys in the tournament takes a lot of the intrigue, because those are guys that would have a chance against anyone in the tourney.
